I suggest you install "Sanctuary Lite" while away from Sanctuary. Maybe on leaving the vault.
This mod relies heavily on Easy Homebuilder and working double beds For details on power supply and different kinds of furniture you should read the mod's description carefully.
For the water in the pond to show up, you must check the "import marker based items" box on import.
I've never heard of THAT issue. I went back to check the mod. But it has not been updated since I did the blueprint. However - and this is just a wild guess- maybe it has something to do with the version of the game. I've had some bad experiences with updates breaking my game over and over again. Still - just a wild guess. You do not say if it works, or if the mod refuses to load or something. If it works I guess it is all good.
I shall preface this by saying I really like this settlement as it gives that not quite pre-war but something that has been built back from the ashes. Currently using this on an Institute/Minuteman ending.
Another thing that I found out while customising the settlement, the workbench is placed where it usually is in a vanilla settlement. The workbench is currently 1/5th clipped into a wall and the rest in the middle of the bar's living area. Did I do something wrong with the settlement import or do I have to download that workbench moving mod?
Thank you for your kind words. Much appreciated The issue with the workbench is an unfortunate result of me not knowing (enough) about how to use "Transfer Settlements" properly. I moved the workbench to a position in one of the Nissen huts before exporting the settlement to a blueprint. But since doing this blueprint I have learnt that on import it will pop up in its original place. In this case that will be the bar, as it was built in roughly the same place as the workbench house of post war sanctuary. You should be able to move it safely to wherever you want it to be. Before you do I suggest you have a look in the Nissen hut with the other workbenches. There just might be a copy of the settlement workbench sitting where I put it. The best way of solving things will be to scrap/disable this one and move the original to wherever you want it using any of a number of mods enabling you to move the workbench. On a side note: On my latest blueprints/personal builds I have started building around the workbench, trying to make it fit into the overall layout without having to move it.
Hello, I have a problem with the road in Sanctuary, it is flashing and I see a texture bug constantly, I have traveled very far; waited 3 days before coming back, I redid this manipulation several times but still this problem ... I'm still looking for a solution ....
I haven't heard about that one before. Neither have I experienced it myself. But it does sound as if you might have 2 roads on top of each other. One thing you might try (make a save first) is to open up console, point/highlight the section in question and raise it a fraction by typing "modpos z 0.5. I normally use "Place everywhere" for such things but console works well too. The mod "Better console" is your best friend here, as it actually tells you what you are pointing at instead of merely giving you an ID number. I don't know your load order. But I have learned that you need "Scrap everything" as low in your load order as possible. And defintely lower than anything you build. Else you'll have buildings, leaves, scrap piles etc. popping up where you don't want them. I guess that will be the same for any scrap mod you might use. Another thing: When you use any mod which changes/improves the Sanctuary roads, you'll have odd pieces of pavement sticking up at angles - just a couple of inches- here and there. They can be scrapped to make a nice and reasonably flat sidewalk.
Merci encore.
Loving the mod. But I am having 2 issues the kitchen cabinets in Player home and Weapon house aren't rendering. I get fish animations but not the pond. I was wondering if you could tell me which mod or mods were used for kitchen issues. As for the pond I've moved it all over the load order, with no success. I can craft it once I get enough water so not that concerned. Thank You for any help.
Thank you very much Bigguy :) I think the pond might be because you need to check "import marker based items" on import. I'll put that up in a sticky. I learned that some time - and blueprints- after I had done this. I'm not so sure about the kitchen. It just MIGHT be because I used a mod no longer on the Nexus. At the time it had been a fixture of my load order for a long time. It was called "Modular Kitchen" and is now on BethNet. I've got an old version sitting on my drive. But - it might also be a kitchen from CWSS. For some reason it's a bit fiddly. Though I don't know if it won't show up. More like it can be difficult to place. I don't know if this was of any help. But it is the best I can do.
I appreciate the quick reply and help. I'm pretty sure the cabinets aren't CWSS. After messaging you yesterday I disabled every mod except that one and they still didn't show up. I'll download and try "Modular Kitchen" from B-net and see if that does it. I'll try the "import marker" for the pond. I'll let you know either way if both "fixes" work.
Very nice, I like it, I sure would like to know how the two story was done? Adding some trees and color from the Northland Diggers would really liven it up.
Edit in; ah ok NM I just found the mod you posted in the sticky.
Thank you for your kind words Blackieees Yeah - some greenery would have been nice. But to be honest - I was sick and tired of decorating by then. So I left it to the user to do more. Besides - I normally play with one of "Fallout seasons" files installed. So it would more have been a matter of adding hedgerows, flowers etc.
Okey, this is really cool. You need to do more settlements like this Bernt. I might need to start a new game just for this. One question tho, would there be a possibility for you to make this look like it was actually touched by the nuclear blast? Not so clean textures, something that was broken and havent been repaired over the time, stuff like that.
Thank you for your kind words Adam I COULD point you to Sanctuary revised Which might form the basis of a pretty worn ol' settlement. To be honest I have no intentions of going down that lane. I had some holiday and spent something like 50+ hours doing this - and the two preceeding it. And I have an idea about finishing this one to my personal liking - adding in a few more mods along the way. Finishing the player house and doing a lot more down by the river. But - there's always a but; isn't there? You've spurred my curiosity. No promises though
Busy, busy, busy. The final product looks very good. It looks like you finally got the street pavement to behave also. Time for a party, dancing in the streets.

Note: I skipped the optional requirements as at the moment I am on a very limited data plan for this month.
Edit#1: Nevermind I failed to read the prompt properly. The "not dealt with" mods were marked with asterisks. *facepalms*
