What does that mean, in practical terms? Not everyone played pancake FO4, so that doesn't tell us anything. -
Hi there, is there a reason this is an esm replacer rather than just an esp file?

Hey, thanks for the question. I've already written about this in the description but maybe I could write it again and in the process make it more focused.
The reason that this is an esm replacer instead of a regular esp files is because of how the original VR master file seems to have some records that, contrary to normal operation of the pancake version, can't be overridden. I could never get an esp file to "take over" the values in the image space adapter that's loaded into the game when playing the VR version.
Unfortunately there are other mods that I've wanted to release that similarly touch things that are seemingly hard-recorded in this way. However that would entail a messy patch-work to maintain compatibility between mods. Maybe some day someone more crafty will find a solution, so that I can release some other mods that have been in the pipeline.
For now though, this mod just works, as long as no other mod appears that also replaces the esm. In which case, please post a bug or leave a comment! -
