Saw the Forgotten Weapons video on this, it's so freaking stupid and obtuse and I love it, fits perfectly with the Fallout asthetic of weaponry and mechanical function
Regards the earlier but already long thread below, there prob is a link to London (albeit prob unkown to Fallout London's makers). Going by the Anglicised spelling, time & place of birth (Russia, 1911), and eventual NY (Brooklyn) residence, David Dardick almost certainly spent time in London as a youth. Dardik/Dardek is a pretty rare Jewish surname and yet it's even rarer Anglicised form "Dardick" frequents the London Gazette in entries for naturalised citizens in the early & mid 20th century. My late Dad's maternal family did the same - my Jewish nan was born in Russia in 1911-1912 (we've no birth certificate), came to London as a child refugee where they Anglicised her surname (so geneology research is tough). There were various pogroms against Jews in Russia in late 19th & early 20th centuries. Many escaped to Britain (mostly East London) - some then saving up for a 2nd move, to the US (typically NY), in fact some of my late nan's extended family later did just that.
First of all, thank you so much for making these mods! I also made an animation dedicated to power armor, but there is one fatal problem. Due to the problem of power armor 3rd person loading itself, if you load a weapon in 3rd person after riding on Power Armor, the ammo is not visible in 1st person. Changing this to a regular revolver reload solved the problem.
question to the author of the mod! and what does this pistol revolver have to do with great Britain ? this weapon was produced in the United States by a small private company from 1954 to 1962 ! ????
@Spo0nman To be fair, the M1 Garand is cannon in the Fallout universe, being a WW2 weapon. They're still being used today, and I'm sure people will still use them many years into the future.
You absolute Mad Lads, adding a Dardick to Fallout. (And the carbine as well) Honestly it's such a weird weapon that it belongs in the universe. Looks great, haven't tried it yet, but I assume it works perfectly. Great job fellas, gonna endorse as soon as the nexus lets me.
