Thank you mod authors for this wonderful mod. I used it last time i was Fallouting a year ago and im using it now as well. I tryed Def mods - Def_HUD, Def_UI and others, but they have so many problems. Hard to be compatible with different mods, like HUDFramework, icons werent working, there are way less options. I try to change many things to make it look prettier, really work with it for hours, but its still plain and basically vanilla style. Im thinking - why am i even installing it. It doesnt look any much different and it doesnt really offer any much different features.
But then i remembered FallUI, i installed it and just like this - almoust everything was working. I couldnt find some settings and configuration took some time, but now ive set it up and i gotta say - Icons look amazing with shading and different colors, Your new Item sorter is great, even a world map overhaul. Hud has many beautiful presets. I love New Vegas style. I also love those buttons when trading - that sells all bulk of items or all items from same category, if im not confusing something now. There are two useful buttons in barter menu.
I love this mod and im playing on NG. Keep working and updating it. I would say its hands down best UI mod for Fallout 4.
Love this mod, can't imagine FO4 without it. Any chance it can be updated to work with the new CC content added with the recent update, specifically, the X-02 power armor and tesla weapons? The armor has a generic icon and doesn't sort into the correct categories. Both the armor and the new weapons get the long custom names instead of the far superior attribute subtitles. I know this is technically CC content (so all bets are off) but since it's now included for free, it would be awesome if FallUI was able to work with it.
Is there a way to add the ammo type to the columns in the weapons tab? It would be very useful! Ive been looking around everywhere but cant seem to find anything.
I have a question, is it possible to INDIVIDUALLY move your weapons OR armors up and down in the pip boy? Let's say that i have 3 weapons, A, B ,C. I want weapon B to take A's position, so that the order will be B, A, C; The DEFAULT sorting presets make you move every single item in the inventory, my goal is, to be able to individually move something in my pipboy, without SCATTERING every single one up and down like an hourglass, is this possible? If yes, could you kindly tell me how? Ty in advance
So I create a new category "Devices & Other" to include items tagged as "OtherALCH" since they weren't getting categorized into anything. It did the job and worked. I tried adding Stealth Boys to it but they still wouldn't get categorized into it. I tried changing the name of the category thinking maybe it couldn't parse spaces or special characters but no dice. Any ideas?
Uhm, so I just tried out using tags in the names of NPC and guess what, the icon and subicon shows up in the activation prompt! Not in VATS or the barter/trade menu, so I'm not even sure it's "supposed" to work, but still, this is so incredibly useful, I just had to share :)
But wait, there's more! You can also use the pipe symbol | that is used for a second line in the inventory in object/NPC names, and it works the same way. So anything and anyone can have a symbol, a name and a subtitle.
And for debug notifications, if you put something in curly braces like {{{this}}}, it will also show up in smaller text on the second line, regardless of the position in the string (it doesn't have to be at the end).
Come to think of it, all this probably should be on the Fall UI HUD page, but oh well.
I don't know if its a issue with this mod, but the perk chart is invisible. I press the 'T' button, and it does not appear. The page turning sound happens, and the screen darkens a bit, but the chart is not there, its just the pip-boy. Does anyone have any solutions??
How to set vanilla weight limit for companions? Can i just turn off "show weight for companions"? As i know, on survival they all have limits much less than default 150. But I dunno the exact numbers.

Here you can find the howto and an example file for new subcategories:
FIS - Howto Modify And Extend
Just store the file where explained and rename the example subcategory and put the stealthboy tag ("StealthBoy") into the tags attribute.
