Want to download but hesitant bc mod this is based on has 4 open bug reports. Did you do something different or is this likely to have any bugs that one does? If you did do something to fix those issues, any chance you can release a fix for his mod? Ty.
While I do agree with you on that, Allow me to elaborate..
The reason these doors are not craftable, and the reason they are only used as garage doors is because of clipping.
When the door opens, the animation doesn't simply disappear, it moves the door up.. When done at a red rocket garage, the door slides up into the building, Which was intentionally made to be large enough to hide the door, thus making it appear to roll up into the roof from the players perspective.
It is actually just sitting in the mesh of the building. If you were to use these as settlement craftable doors, they would slide up through the ceiling of the building and into the room above... (This is why one of the window shutters closes way more than it should, because if I'd aligned it correctly, opening it would result in it sticking out through the roof and into your settlement buildings above)
This is just how the game animations work. The only way I can see around this would be to have to doors up-side down so they slide down into the ground.
"It's the simple things in life". I am using this with a mod that cleans this RR, and they work just fine together! That is all, time to go kill more Radrat pups.
P.S. I downloaded this mod via Vortex and it worked straight away.
I have a mod that makes the Red Rockets into safe houses of a sort, basically add crafting stations and lets you use the build editor on them, it's a shame this couldn't be added to those.

It's a five-star mod.
