So I'm being told by my FO4 save game file that I'm missing FunctionalDisplays-Collectibles, and FunctionalDisplays-MISC-Weightless along with FunctionalDisplays.esp. (It's been an uh... "minute," man. Definitely over a year.  ;) Are these other two included now or... what am I missing? Because I cannot find them anywhere on Nexus when I search for them.

For anyone having problems with the mod now showing in Workshop Menu, even after following the troubleshooting steps given by other people, you can use the console command

    "HLP FunctionalDisplays"

without the quotation marks, this hotloads the plugin while the game is running, think of it like a restart of the plugin or something. It takes a few seconds and may freeze the game a bit but once done it should show the Functional Display menu now.

I had trouble with the mod when I started a new game and had to un-install/re-install a bunch of mods to see if they would work, weird part was on another character the Functional Display menu works properly and not on the new one.

Can confirm this works with a new game. Thanks.

Additional help for others: for people having the CTD issue, go into the meshes folder for this mod and delete every folder EXCEPT the functional displays folder. If you use Vortex, go to your mod list, right click this mod, click "Open in File Manager," and you will see the meshes folder.

I've been lovcing collecting the models i have quiet a few now. But the models display case wont let me put them in. It's litrally labele display stand models so why cant i put them in there? all the other display stands are working fine.

This mod mostly works but several displays wouldn't allow me to place the appropriate objects inside. Initially, it also turned several weapons I hung on the racks into unmodified, basic versions.

There is a patch out there for this mod that claims to update it. There is a patch pack for Workshop Rearranged that includes a compatibility pack for this mod, and I installed both.

Ultimately, I gave up on it. I really like the the idea of the pool table, which didnt work. The bobble head display did not work. The model display did not work. Even after the patches. Perhaps there are solutions out there, but I just don't have the dedication to keep trying.

I decided to try Snappable Clutter and Display Marker, and already had OCDecorator.

I ma honestly surprised that noone has made something like this mod but rather than a full shelf it's a single small activator that will spawn/display what you store in it. You can then "Build" your own display. Like using a mod that lets you open and close fridges and placing that activator on the shelves in it. Store some drinks on each one and boom you got a filled fridge. Maybe you can also put a stack of items and it'll refill once the cell is loaded again. If it also works with weapons then you can place it on a surface and store the weapon in it to display. I know there's ones on the wall, I was thinking this would be laying flat on the surface.

Also surprised that there's no Functional Drawers. Ones that you can activate the draws and it'll pull out.

Why tool racks display only screwdrivers? Or maybe I miss something?

I had this problem Fixed it by opening up FOEdit and checking FunctionalDisplays-MISC-Vanilla.esp for any conflicts

For me the keywords for a bunch of items (including tools) were being overridden by Workshop Rearranged

So I fixed it by adding/copying the keywords from Functional Displays to Workshop rearranged and presto, it worked.  Good idea to check the other Functional Displays esp files for conflicts too, most important part is the keywords for items as those are what set which items go on which displays.

It shouldn't take you too long to figure out what weapons are large, medium, and small.

I am getting this exact message with the display rack for tools. Only screwdrivers want to be stored. I tried duct tape, ball=peen hammer, adjustable wrench, wrench, etc. Everything I tried to store there that was a tool gave that message. Size has nothing to do with it. If anyone knows what's causing this, please help.

I have the same problem. I tried installing the English and Russian versions, there is no difference. Changed the order of loading mods. The result is always the same. The instrument display gives an alert : "You can't keep it here." The rest of the displays, shelves, display cases and cabinets are working.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to love this mod, but I'm having an issue. Some things display just fine, others dont. The weapons work fine on the weapon racks, food in the food-o-matic, clothing on the mannequins. Drinks show up just fine on the shelves. However alot of things just give me that message "you cant put that here(or something like that)" when I try to put them on a display. For example, I cant put the models on the shelves or the model display. I can put bobbleheads, drinks and food on those shelves, but no models, gilded grasshopper, wooden toy soldier, toys, globes, collectable baseballs, bowling pins, etc etc. I also cant put tools on the tool rack. Anyone else having this problem?

I think it may have something to do with the inventory category something is in. Weapons and aid items work fine, but nothing in the miscellaneous/junk category will work.

I'm having trouble with the tool display rack. Every time I try to put a tool on it, I get a message that says the item can't be placed there.

do you have SKE "SETTLEMENT KEYWORDS EXPANDED" OR SMM      SETTLEMENT MENU MANAGER? These help organize and create new or mix settlement mods into preexisting catagories
