Make sure you try Place Everywhere if you have issues snapping the bobblehead shelf to the rack.

If you have an idea for another texture, shoot me a DM and I'll try to add it.

As far as I'm aware there's no issues with NG.

i noticed at time when i returned back to settlement where i keep these magazines, almost all magazines stored back into settlement inventory.
only those cc magazines remain in the rack.

i dunno is this a vanilla issue, or this mod.

That's pretty weird, I've never heard of that. But this mod doesn't change how magazines are stored, it just adds more nodes to the added rack.

i did a test, found out its due to another mod "Scrap Zapper 2" doing this.
i put this into that mod comment.

Yes hello I'm just here to say that as someone who has every single one of the "and also, we added magazines!" mods (meaning I have uhhhhhh like 2000 additional magazines no that number is not a typo), this has been a wonderful addition to my library in Sanctuary. Not only does it look more realistic, it means not having sixteen shelves in a single genre. Thanks for making it!

I'm back two and a half years later just to say thank you again. This is an indispensable part of my load order, and I'm so thrilled by it.

This mod is exactly what I've been looking for!  I have always hated the fact that the magazine racks don't snap together by default, and now with this mod I can not only snap them together, but I can add the bobbleheads to the top of the magazine racks as well.  Genius!

    Thank you!!!  😎👍👍

would dedicated textures for only MRE be possible so that textures from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11042?tab=description or https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/53062?tab=description could be be manually incorporated w/o affecting all magazine racks?

Just to clarify.  You're asking if it's possible for the racks from this mod to have those textures without effecting those in the world?  If so, then yes you can replace the metal one, but the wooden one would most likely look pretty bad since I had to edit the texture layout in the mesh itself.

If you'd like an explanation on how you can do this, just send me a dm.

This mod has been so helpful to me. I like using these type of display shelves for my magazines instead of the carousel display, but the vanilla shelves were just taking up so much space. I'm also loving the bobblehead displays. Thank you.

How do you display the lunchboxes on the bottom?  Can other items be stored there?

Only magazines and bobbleheads can be stored on the shelves/racks.  I used the place everywhere mod to place the box.

Bit of a longshot, but I feel like it's worth asking. Any chance of you giving permission to get this ported over to Xbox? We really don't have anything like this on console and it would honestly save a LOT of space and many, many headaches.

For sure, I have no issue if someone wants to port it over.  I don't really know how the xbox mod store works, but just give this version a shout out if possible so that people can find it here as well.

Oh, sweet! You'll have to actually change the permissions so that that's clearly stated though, sorry. New rules this coming year means we can't just use screenshots for it, so if you'd just change it to 'it's fine, but give credit', we should be covered.

Oh, I don't know if that's a new option or I just missed it.  Anyways, should be good to go now.

I've just had it ported over and it appears to be working properly. Only thing was, while I know that the bobblehead rack is known to be really difficult to snap on, it might help if we knew where the snap point was. I've installed Place Everywhere (the Xbox version), but that hasn't helped me snap it on so far (though I have only just done it). Also, are you meant to be able to place Vault-Tec Lunchboxes on the bottom or is that something you've done?

Unfortunately, I don't think knowing their location would help much.  But here's a pic: Snap Points.  If I remember correctly, snap points seem to prioritize surfaces over other objects and I couldn't figure out a way to remedy this.

I'm assuming it'd be a pain to test on console, but you can edit/add snap points using nifskope if you felt so inclined. This is the video I referenced if you wanted to try: video.

No, all features are listed in the description.  I just used a screenshot from my playthrough where I manually placed that box.

Unfortunately, as a console player, I'm not able to do edits myself! Still, that picture should help. I'll save it for the day I end up building a permanent setup. Thanks for all your help.

Delightful mod! I'm working on a debugged setup for Fourville but it occurs that aside from a frowny red mark from WyreFlash the second version works just fine with vanilla...

This mod works great! Any chance you can make something similar for weapons, kinda like the old Functional Displays mod (minus all the bugs)? Just a thought, thank you for this mod!

      I'm glad you like it.

I really only made this mod for myself and decided to share it, so I'm not planning on making anything else at the moment.

But I'd recommend Better Armory Mod.  I used it for displaying weapons when I was playing and it's better than anything I could make.
