I love the concept of this mod way more than Locky Bastard. Is there any way you can turn the Halligan Bar into a weapon? Having a mini bec-de-corbin as a melee weapon would be amazing for me.

Author, you are awesome and I have like 10 of your mods. Whether or not you answer in a way that I hope, I wanted to preemptively say I appreciate the work you have done and how much you have changed my game for the better. :) Thank you!
Now, on to the hopeful request! Did you ever finish your combined Locky Bastard and Firefighter mod? I looked over all of your FO4 profile mod list with a ctrl+f search of "lock" but only found the original files. However, I am known to occasionally be almost blind. If you haven't made it, could you? is there anything particularly messed up in the Locky Bastard mod that would make it difficult for me to combine them properly?
For some reason this mod prevents me from starting a new game. I have no other mods loaded except this mod, and the game will not start a new game, it freezes. Any ideas?
This mod is amazing! Thank you for the great work. I think it is superior to Locky Bastard. 1) It is far more balanced - You get to choose between blacksmith and lockpick. 2) It brings back the crowbar from classic Fallout1 and Fallout2 as an alternative to lockpicking skill. 3) It does not overwrite anytihng from the original game, so fewer bugs! I will continue to enjoy the game roleplaying as a firefighter :)
It would be cool to be able to pair this with turnout gear as armor or an outfit. IRL it's not crazy protective physically (besides the helmets) other than protecting from scrapes and bruises, but it sure is fire resistant; maybe it would have high energy resistance in-game?
Does the halligan only open safes and chests? If you're looking for realism, I use a halligan for opening doors more than any other tool. Halligan should absolutely open everything, especially doors.
Is there a way to make this work with Locky Bastard? So we can shoot the lock, blow the lock, kick the door open, and/or hack it open with your fire axe?

I haven't tested this mod with Locky Bastard, but I'm going to go with the safe bet and say yes, they conflict.
I will take a look at them together and make a new version that's compatible... I'll probably have it up tonight!
