I want to like this, I really do... But it breaks my immersion so badly cause a lot of the songs really don't sound like Pre-War songs at all. It doesn't feel like I'm listening to a radio in the game, but more like I'm playing Fallout with a YT video playing in the background. I think I'm gonna stick with Old World Radio for now
I have to agree. As a HUGE OTR fan before fallout 4, this mod doesn't fit with the 40s and 50s vibe I LOVE. Great mod truly. Just musically not accurate, so I'll be removing it - with endorsement given, for the sheer hard work!
1. Change name in Jetfuel Radio Standalone-5303-1-0-1.zip\Data\Sound\FX\MUS\Radio\JetfuelRadio.esp to 1-46 (Ex: 01_AllIEverDoIsWin to 1 // 02_WhydYouHurtMe to 2) 2. Download Fallout 4 - PipPOD STANDALONE Radio at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) 3. Place the file inside 50 SONG No Repeat (Sound and PipPOD.esp ) it will be like this: Fallout 4\Data\Sound\FX\mus\radio\PersonalRadio 4. Inside Fallout 4\Data\Sound\FX\mus\radio\PersonalRadio Replace with song from step 1 5. Done
Downloaded this mod to try it out, and have been loving Dozer and the music selection!
The volume issues have already been noted, so instead, I'd like to offer a possible song recommendation for a future update! "Home For A Rest" by Spirit of The West. Could even have some lore about it, with it being a canadian song, maybe Dozer got it from a trader from Ronto or something? Either way, excited to see the future of this mod!
After 5-odd days of going through every single mod to see which ones were causing my game to freez-up every few seconds, I unfortunately discovered the culprits were Jetfuel Radio and Raider Overhaul.
I don't wanna part with these mods, can anybody lend me some advice?
This has been my absolute favorite radio mod since I first downloaded it YEARS ago. I just wish there was more! Gimme hose snarky bits and good song clips!
This is honesty one of the better radio mods that I've tried and kept using. Over the years I've used 20+ different stations and I only kept around 5 of them because either the radio station broke from conflicting files or the music was just plain bad. Though, I do agree in some cases the songs repeat a little too often but I to got say the music is actually pretty decent and quite good to jam to while building.
I hope the creator comes back and finishes the rest of the mod, because added player progression would be awesome. :)
A good mod in terms of the custom host voice work and the music, but I just can't keep it. The repeated rants that the Institute stuff is all fake, when my char is bustin' his ass to take them down and sees their agents attack people, nah, not havin' that. Good work though, cheers.
i would guess the original idea was he'd recant and change his tune when the Institute openly invaded, as part of the "comments on player progression" intended feature, but since it never happened...
