Awesome mod! There's just one thing that bothers me. Is it possible to make a version where the enemy actually dies? Because it's weird that you axe someone's skull or stab them through the gut only for them to get back up like nothing happened LOL! Aside from that, everything's perfect.
Hi, I love this mod because I find the grab attacks to be cool. One question I have is how do you patch custom races so that they are affected by grab attacks? I have replaced many enemies in the common wealth with a custom race called Miya and I find I'm unable to perform grab attacks on them while they can use grab attacks on me. Do you know how to solve this? thanks!
HI, I always wanted more attack moves but I wonder does this work with custom human races? like if both me and the enemy is a human maya race, does the animation trigger?
I’ve noticed humans (and synths) will forgo their weapons if in melee distance. Is this due to the main file or the second optional file? While I like that it creates some instances where it would make sense for a character to go melee, it doesn’t make much since when raiders or synths try to go toe-to-toe with a deathclaw or feral ghouls.
Its the more melee style optional file. I don't use it cause my Minutemen spawned from the flare gun to put their guns away and duke it out with Deathclaws and Yao Gaoi and get mauled.
doesn't seem to be working for me. at first I (stupidly) only installed the optional patch and I figured that was why, but no matter how many raiders I spawned to fight I couldn't get any of the moves to trigger. I used many power attacks in and out of 3rd person but no luck. they never used the moves on me either.
From my testing tonight it seems to work better when they are either low health, near your level, or both. IF what I spawned was a lot higher level than me, it wouldn't trigger that often at all. Working with gun bashing and melee weapons. Some melee weapons don't trigger it much, like the boards super mutants use. I'm using the main file + only player grabs, but I did need to edit gunners into it as well as they weren't included for some reason. Spawning 5 of them wasn't a good idea, I was getting chain knocked down.
The files being adjusted by the main mod are IDLE ANMATION. The files being adjusted by the No NPC optional file are COMBAT STYLE. You can check both of these in the main fallout4.esm in fo4edit to see if the mod is activated properly. For the latter, I added csGunnerRanged, Special Attack mult, from 0.10 to 0.0.
