Version update 1.13 [July 14, 2022] RELEASED! -Added Custom Sunset Sarsaparilla Bottles, 2 unique variants. Sunset Silver Rush and Sunset Legend -Added support for storing those bottles in the Sunset Sarsaparilla Fridge -Only 104 Sunset Legend will be acquirable (without use of console), and will be scattered around the wasteland. -Sunset Sarsaparilla and Sunset Silver Rush will be acquirable from one regular location that will respawn a select amount of each every day or so. -All Sunset Sarsaparillas are very powerful with their stats. Cold Variants especially. -No there wont be anything to do with the Star Cap. My variant has wood bottle caps, not a currency or a collectible, either way. -HOW TO GET SUNSET: There is a trailer in North-east corner of concord off the road that contains Sunset Sarsaparilla and Sunset Silver Rush, the container holding them should refill every 7 in game days. Sunset Legend has been placed throughout the wasteland, there is only 104 of them. No plans to make any of them craftable, for now. ( If it doesn't reset you can open console, select the container and type ResetInventory and the contents should then be refreshed)
-NOTE: PERFORMANCE CAN/WILL DIP DRASTICALLY IF YOU HAVE TOO MANY FULL DISPLAYS (OF ANY TYPE) IN ONE LOCATION, EXTERIOR ESPECIALLY. USE THE DISPLAYS SPARINGLY. (104 items x their poly/triangle count = thousands of draw calls the game isn't designed to handle in one location.) Just keep that in mind if you're planning on using a lot of these for any reason. Interior cells will suffer less FPS hit overall.
KNOWN ISSUES: -Vim bottles have an origin issue and it is not fixable from anything I've tried including rotating their root meshes (which breaks placements elsewhere) as well as altering the method of placing them on shelves (which broke nuka cola). Just have to live with it. Something bethesda didn't check in QA. -Some navmesh around Concord may throw an error but it should be fine.
Version Update 1.12 -REDOWNLOAD 1.12 If you downloaded before 10-10-2021
Naming is now: NukaRDC.ESP NukaRDC - Main.Ba2 NukaRDC - Textures.Ba2
Changes -Fixed and updated the root files (scripts and meshes) to last bug fixed version before it was taken down. -Bottles will be oriented correctly (in theory?) -Packed the Files into BA2 Archives (thanks to a friend for doing that for me.)
I never use display cases, and generally don't care that much about decoration. But this fridge looks so sweet! I need it.
I'll probably end up patching it a bit for my game, remove some things (that container that restocks Sunset Sarsaparilla etc.) but that's because I am making an extremely hard, slow burn survival type load order... but I'll find a way to make this mod fit into that, because it looks so gorgeous. I don't care if burns FPS to have a lot of them around either, that's what interior settlements and Outpost Zimonja etc. are for :D
In short, haven't used your mod yet, love it already, thanks for making it.
It is a very pleasant fridge to use. Aesthetics are a bit toy-like, but functionally its quite awesome. The awesome glow of bottles glistening through the window really adds flavour to a settlement.
One thing I would love to see is a mod that allows settlers/companions to access the fridge with special/unique reactions to ingesting Nuka drinks. Of course you would need a configuration menu to limit the frequency at which they can access it lest all your Nuka's will be gone.
I keep having these inner monologues at my settlements, stating in a town meeting that the Nuka fridge is for everyone, though we will have to limit consumption to 1 per person each week and that we will have a raffle system for the Quantum colas being as rare as they are.
I too prefer a very slow-burning and brutal survival hellscape. I have a bunch of balance mods, but one thing that adds great longevity is the now hidden, reduced XP mod. I am running 5% with no XP from int. Currently lvl 29 in a 850 hour save lol.
MAP! I have been wondering for a long time what mod gives me an in detail 4k map with a legend for various things and it is this mod! I love the displays and I love the map, it should be mentioned in the description! I play on Xbox
Really? Ugh. That's not even supposed to be in the mod files but thanks for letting me know. Glad its been a useful accident on the archivers mindless file grabbing.
I believe that. Nothing I can do about it presently as I do not have access to VR environment any.
If you could note when it causes a crash that would help narrow down possible cause. I would immediately suspect a framerate related issue to the door animations but with FO4 it could be anything.
I have no idea why it does this but whenever I exit Vault 111 and look in the directions of Sanctuary Hills the game CTD. I've rooted it down to this mod being the culprit. I'll see if I can root out if it's an interaction between it and another mod when I have more free time.
Which fridge is the "general" one, i build a couple but most only allow nuka cola + beer and gwinett, some only allow sunset legend, i cant seems to find any yet fridge for my other Alcohol (bourbon, spice rum sth etc),some modded one from Fens sheriff department (Nuka heat , Nuka winter mix etc- cant place these inside your Nuka fridge), want to find a general one that i can place everything drink in, and put each level with a different type of drinks
All of them should accept any liquid. If they're not have you got any mods that make changes to food items or boozes? As that could possibly interfere with the fridges functioning for general items.
Yes so long as the bottle height / proportions aren't exceeding the default too much you shouldn't have any issue with this and replacer nuka-cola's or whatever else you use.
Just that Vim Machines only take Vim and not Nuka Cola, and vice versa. All other MISC drinks (beer, water, other) will go into all of them until 104 slots are taken up.
And yes it can be intense on performance which is why I recommend building these someplace where visual occlusion is very high (like with walls around it).
Absolutely ADORE this mod, only issue I'm having at all is the doors disappear when I get close to the machine sometimes (the left door specifically) Otherwise I adore the machines and want a real Quantum one so much lol
This will happen more in area's that are dense in meshes and that can diminish as they fill up. Not a issue I could ever figure out a solution for that didn't also tip into causing more issues.
Should be able to mitigate this a bit keeping these built in closed areas. The more visual occlusion there is the better performance these will have overall, especially when full.
I was chasing a crash and was very saddened to see the old frig mod deleted, I've had that installed since early days. Fortunately I persevered in my hunt and found this new version had been posted in its place ! I love these things and they'll never leave my mod list. Thanks for putting in so much work into them.
Not really a bug, but just to follow up on "drastic dip in performance you mentioned) - filling up an entire fridge with nuka cola dropped my FPS to 6-7 frames per second while in the vicinity of the container, regardless if I'm looking at it or not. A bit of hassle, especially if you're planning to build a nuka cola bar, like I was :)
Yeah I was really hoping the big patch was going to bring FSR and DLSS with it and the fact they decided to skip that is irksome as it might've helped with instances like this.
You happen to be running any other mods that enable or disable combined objects? Wondering if the issue is in that setting, as I think I originally discovered having it disabled with this mod helped the FPS not tank so hard for whatever reason.

Nuka Cola themed ones only take nuka-cola and misc drinks
Sunset takes mixed drinks and sunset.
Just need to find those types of drinks in the world and then place them in their respective fridges and they should visibly fill up on their own.
Just that Vim Machines only take Vim and not Nuka Cola, and vice versa. All other MISC drinks (beer, water, other) will go into all of them until 104 slots are taken up.

Love this mod anyway!
