SO what works great with this mod is the ponytail hairstyles by azar mod. if your using any other hair mod like i was i had to disable them as soon as i did i was able to use all of the hairs
I can't seem to get the mod working correctly, I've reinstalled it a few times. The names of the hairs show up but they all look bald. And for some reason half the kids are just floating heads :/
The hairs are not showing up in the looksmenu. I just updated to vortex idk if that's the problem and I just have to wait. I've reinstalled it a couple of times, but no avail. Hope you can still help me out.
i use this alongside playable children, raider children orphans and diverse children. i noticed that many of those hairstyles are clipping, especially the girls hair. any idea what caused this or how i could solve it?
What are you using to make the conversions? I tried to convert one of the hairs from this mod using Bodyslide, but it just exploded after I exported it (meaning it deforms into a zillion flat planes in game lol...).
Actually the only part I don't understand is WTF I'm supposed to do with it in Outfit Studio once I'm done editing it. I didn't think I saved it as a project, as it has no sliders and is not meant to be used with BodySlide, but just exporting the .nif did not seem to be working...
------------------ EDIT: Hmm, it occurs to me that I only tested the meshes by replacing a hair from this mod, and there could have been other complications by doing it that way (i.e. data that needs to be set up for the specific hair in the plugin or something). :/
ALl im doing is using outfit studio to import the children heads and importing the hair then i resize the hair to fit the heads then i fix any clipping issues. after im done doing that mess i simplely export it all together then i get in the nif and remove the children heads from the nif and it works just fine.
You might be trying to work on the facebone hair correct? thats kinda a problem if you work on both the normal hair and the faebone hair in the same import thingy
Facebone meshes kinda dont like other non faebone meshes when u import it or whatever, it gives u an error and might crash in game.
