I don’t know if this has already been addressed, but I can’t seem to find a solution. basically, ever since I upgraded to NextGen, Travis seems to be out of synch with the songs. He will introduce a song and something else will play or he will comment after a song has played and it will be for a different song. I have reloaded the newest version and used the quest stop and restart commands, but nothing seems to work. Could this be an issue with the NextGen update?
im pretty sure it is, i have the same issue without this mod installed...npc dialogue overlaps too. but if you cap your game to 60 fps it should fix it
If you're taking suggestions on what songs to add, i highly recommend adding "this land is your land. by Woody Guthrie" And maybe even "Tear The Fascists Down. also by woody Guthrie"
I've adored this mod! It brings to life the radio, that I honestly never listened to on its base state beyond my first 50 minutes of playing for the first time (I have 600 hours across all the consoles I have this game on LMFAO) that being said I do have a few suggestions for songs if this is still being updated! Ray Charles - You Don't Know Me (1962) Sam Cooke - A Change is Gonna Come (1964) The Platters - Smoke Gets In Your Eyes (1958) Little Richard - Tutti Frutti (1958) Ricky Nelson - Poor Little Fool (1958) (fun fact, the first ever #1 song on Billboard's Hot 100) Louis Armstrong - Hello, Dolly! (1965) Del Shannon - Runaway (1961) Eddie Cochran - Summertime Blues (1958) Otis Redding - (Sittin' On The Dock) Of The Bay (1967) (This one might be pushing the chronology a bit far but I think it thematically works well in the game) Elvis Presley - Can't Help Falling In Love (1961) Bob Dylan - Knockin' On Heaven's Door (1964)
I don't like this mod at all. Diamond City radio only needed maybe a dozen more songs maximum, not hundreds (you'll never hear the original songs again) and 90% of the "New" songs are slow tempo and depressing.
"(you'll never hear the original songs again)" Be aware that this mod by default only plays 3 added songs between the original "vanilla" tracks... The fact that there are hundreds of songs does not change how often you hear the originals. The author has even given us control of how often we'd like to hear vanilla tracks via the holotape.
Not true at all, in fact literally impossible given how this mod operates (Travis' dialogue will only play before/after one of the original songs plays).
Yes my apologies. As of the next gen update the holotape does not appear so we are apparently stuck with the default functionality of the mod which is 3 songs between the vanilla tracks.
Hey Bobschmick you said you can control how often the vanilla songs play are you referring to the interval of which Travis talks since the beginning and end of each run has one of the original songs play?
So i dont know much about this mod, but installing it mid play through, as I hated how repetitive the music was, activating it correctly, worked perfectly.. but then upon closing the game and loading a save again, I started getting severe fps drops. like going from 60 to 10fps the entire time every time i loaded a save.
Uninstalled the mod and no issues now. Back to 60fps. I'm not sure how a simple music mod would even cause this, but congrats to the developer for even managing to make that possible...? I have some experience in coding, and making mods, and not sure what you would even do to cause this.... Obviously crappy ass code. Highly recommend anyone to not install this.
I downloaded this mod on a new playthrough, was silent before, during, and after the quest. The patch fixed it but it's a mystery as to why it didn't work.
Everything seems to be working for me but there's no holotape that changes the settings on the radio. Just want Travis to stop talking to so I can just listen to music lol.

Any idea what to do for that?
EDIT: Craft it at Chem Station - figured it out!
