I'm trying to run this alongside Workshop Framework and Looksmenu - when I go to edit a face in Looksmenu, I get stuck in there with no options and it won't let me exit. My NextGen update is working fine with Looksmen and Workshop Framework with this mod disabled.
It sounds like this mod is not compatible. You can try SKK Fast Start.
I do not use Looksmenu and thus unable to test for incompatibilities so I can not make a compatibility patch. There should be no incompatibility with WSFW as that mod never leaves my load order.
I have had the similiar issue. Im using Workhsop Framework, Looks Menu and Fast Start. When i sumon Looks Menu during game from console, it didnt allow me to adjust my body or face. Only hair. But im not sure that its problem with this mod. For all i know it could be a number of different reasons.
Doesn't work, of course. After creating your character and clicking "done,", it stays in PreWar Sanctuary and forces you through all of the same tired, long, time-wasting BS as if it's vanilla.
I recently started a new game without issues. My guess is you have a mod conflicting with this one. This mod will be incompatible with any mod that edits the first 2 vanilla quests.
i can confirm after updating to NG (not by choice) this isn't working for me. i only have 18 mods mostly hair, character creation. i can give exact mod names if needed but before update it worked fine with same mods.
Try pressing the activate key. (default E) Its likely you have a mod displaying a message box that is hidden by the loading screen. You can disable this mod and start a new game to see what the message box says.
The games script is tied to the framerate. Intuitively you would think that means that higher framerate would improve the script processes, and it does to a point. But the script is actually given just a small amount of time to work on something, milliseconds per process. In some mods, like the larger ones mentioned in the description (Sim Settlements 2, etc.) higher framerate can lead to screen stutters, freezes, glitches, even CTDs and corrupt save files due to loss of information. There are numerous resources to dive into this, and some mods even suggest and recommend going into the ini files and increasing the time given for the scripts to run. There are also locations in the base game that are super hard on the script, usually referred to as "Triangles of Death" because of how the ugrid loading works. For example, when moving around sanctuary you could be loading and unloading both red rocket and abernathy farm cells due to the grid/cell load size. This is actually a problem with quite a few settlements that are placed close enough together. The Castle area is another example (cant remember the other settlement names within the load size).
So the user above mentioned that people with exceptionally high frame rates could end up being stuck in the cryo pod because the script didn't load properly due to the higher frame rate. Therefore, cap it when starting a new game, to make sure all information is loaded (also referenced in the description) and then once exiting the vault, you should be safe to increase the frames as you see fit.
He meant that by having a higher FPS cap (let's say 144 fps) you possibly can get stuck in the cryopod at the start of the game. I recommend using BethINI to set a 60 FPS cap on the game until you get outside of the vault and then re-enable a higher fps cap. (Basically what Trylobyte922 said as I have just seen his response to this)
Does a mod like High FPS Physics fix solve this issue? Or is it more an issue of the Papyrus VM being tied to the game engine's framerate? I have a 60 fps monitor thus unable to test this.
Been running this mod with High FPS Physics fix (Running 120fps), and I have never gotten stuck. The only thing I notice is the massive stuttering and frame drops after waking up from Cryostasis. I have to save and *completely* close the game (quitting to main menu doesn't help), then re-load the save in order to fix the issue. Tried waiting for an hour (actual 1 hour, not in-game 1 hour), but that doesn't help. Only save > quit > load works. Haven't encountered any problems by doing this (already on my 20+ new games), so I just tend to ignore it.
The cryopod oddity for me is: Choose no options in this mod's pop-up = Cryopod works normally. Choose the kill roaches option = Nora just sits in the cryopod and breaths .... endlessly.
I have no idea what would cause that behavior. This mod hijacks MQ101, does its own version of MQ101 tasks then lets vanilla MQ102 quest take over. No vanilla records are edited. Everything is done via script. Is it possible you have a mod that edits the vanilla quest MQ101 or DialogVault111? Maybe my script(s) are grabbing unexpected forms.
Vanilla quest DialogVault111 has RefCollectionAlias RadRoachCollection. If the "kill radroaches" option is selected, once V111 is loaded, my script loops through this alias killing all refs. (the refs are V111RadRoachRefType [LCRT:00211721])
hi there i can't seem to get this mod to wrk for me, everytime i have a new start 8 in total so far, i get to the mirror and nothing pops up? any help would be great also this is flagged as an .esl through Rudyeslify but i am not sure if that would cause a problem?
