This shouldn't happen. You may have a mod that affects the Barber Chair. You could open your mods in FO4Edit to see if there's any visible record conflict.
Absolutely love these Idle Conversation and other settler mods you've made, do you think we could get an AIO of them in the future? Keep up the great work!
I like the mod, but I found that it interrupted my ability to use the barber chair :( Is that normal? When the barber is talking to other settlers it's not possible to use the chair.
You can interrupt the hairdressing by opening Workshop Mode and clicking on (highlighting) either the barber or the patron. The random quest shuts down and the settler gets up from the chair right away.
I was just thinking only thing better is if there was some sort of toggable/slidable 'Cool Down' setting.. I think could they sit down and read, or sweep while they are waiting for a customer .. ? .. and I'm sure Salon's have days where NOBODY comes in the mornings or afternoons :) I also am enjoying your 'Eye Exam' mod .. :) thanks so much :) but this is a mutual situation with these mods :) hehe :) .. Thanks for the feedback. Currently the global cool off timer is not modifiable, only the one that prevents the same settler from going back for a haircut within a few (four actually) ingame hours after getting their hair cut ("Set SettlersAsHairDressers_CoolOffTimerTime to X" where 'X' is measured in game time and its default value is '4').
is there anyway the hairdresser can do this animation while your character is in the barber chair, or if there is any trigger to this animation via another mod
I don't know if there's another mod that does it but it wouldn't be simple. CharGen mode ("LooksMenu") requires specific animations to work. I doubt the one that's in the mod is supported by CharGen.
First of all, thank you for the great mod. I am wondering if you plan to make a merged plugin for settlers at hairdressers, settlers go shopping and settlers get an eye exam in the future. I feel people interested in one of them are more likely to try out others as well to enhance the immersive experience for vanilla stuff and having one plugin rather than three plugins would be handy for them. Thank you.
