wtf does the chainsaw not have a normal map or mask texture? theyre not in the file archive. its the ony weapon missing these i think. how is that even possible?
I understand what you mean, if I had the time to do so I would but its one of those cases where its more time consuming to mod Fallout NV with unofficial tools then it is to mod Fallout 4 with official tools and there is so many hoops to jump through working with a different workflow
1. press the key for the console, no idea what that is on your keyboard, for me (German) it's the 'ö' key 2. type 'help katana 4' without the quotes 3. look for the katana's entry with the prefix 'weap' (you can scroll the console results with page up and down) 4. note the code at the end 5. type 'player.additem [CODE HERE] 1' without the quotes
This mod is hard to recommend with how bare bones it is, pretty much none of the weapons have attachments, the balancing sucks and alot of the weapons are very buggy. This is a trend with alot of Capital Wasteland weapons however, and I hope they are eventually patched and hopefully improved since the models that are attached to them are drop dead gorgeous.
Would it be possible for there to be a version where the Shishkebab does not have the backpack? I play with a mod that adds armor which uses the back slot and it is always unequipped when I use the weapon.

Equip a different weapon, add the mod, then can equip shishkebab without losing your backpack
