Really wish Nexus would include descriptions when searching for a mod. Searching "unlimited hacked robots" on Nexus brings up nothing but the instant I put that into Youtube, I get this mods demo video.
Whenever I have random Assaultrons guarding me, they still damage me with the charge laser when attacking enemies, please patch it or create a workaround.
This mod looks really fantastic! Right up my ally! I really want to use this mod but unfortunately the fomrIds are below 800 and won't work for VR. I could fix the plugin but I'm assuming that would break the scripts. Any chance on publishing a VR friendly version? Every time I try messing with scripts, I spend weeks with a broken game.. If not I'll definitely make another attempt for this mod at some point, I really like what you did here.
When you take an assaultron and stuff like that to towns, they attack the settlers. If you change the aggression of the hacked robots to 1 the problem is solved (by default they have it at 2). I changed it with commands but I think you could do it easily in the mod (I don't know) and that way they can function as followers, because if not they will attack anything that approaches them. Otherwise the mod is very good.
Good morning, what can I do to keep KL-E-0 as a recruiting settler in Sanctuary? I have to admit," I'm at my wit's end " I tried to move her vendor marker, change her faction affiliation, looked in the quest area. Unfortunately, I have not been able to do this so that KL-E-0 keeps its dialogs.
I had recruited PAM from the Railroad as a comparison and assigned PAM to Sanctuary. To my surprise, PAM keeps all her dialogs. She gives me quest(s) and can interact with PAM normally as if PAM was in her Railroad HQ.
I compared her entries with KL-E-0 to see if I can find something why KL-E-0's dialogs are removed if KL-E-0 is recruited in a settlement, don't know where to look to unlock dialogs.

Is it possible to make KL-E-0 keep its vendor dialogs outside of Goodneightbor by adding keywords? Since I own among others your mod Recruit Isabel Cruz from Mechanic Lair. Here Isabel has kept all her dialogs. Or is it mandatory to rewrite or change the scripts so that KL-E-0 keeps its cool sayings?
How can you add the vendor line to the settlement vendor lines? I can very well imagine that it sounds very interesting to interact with KL-E-0 in Sanctuary as a weapon vendor, for example. A hint: About 2 months ago maintenance work took place in the forum and in the message area, since then ( confirmed by several modders ) you do not get any hint on the main page that there is a new PN
Support has answered me and informed me that this function has been deactivated since the new forum update, unfortunately you have to check the news section yourself to see if there is a new PN.
Thanks for this mod.. but I have several issues.. first, I managed to hack an assaultron dominator and use the "GuardMe" command & it started to follow me around.. not long after, we encountered a non-hostile eyebot (advertisement eyebot) & the assaultron attacks it, so I thought ok.. no big deal.. but when I fast travel to a settlement, it suddenly attacks a companion (piper) that I sent to wait there.. Is it just my game glitched or anyone else experienced it..? Oh and one more thing, I tried a more "friendly" approach, so I went to Robotics disposal ground & activate the Sentry Bot there.. hack it (using the holotape) & use the "Guard Area" command in one of my settlement.. then when I returned to that settlement after exploring, the Sentry Bot was no longer there.. It returned to Robotics disposal ground.. & when I tried to hack it again using the holotape, it says did not detect any robots in the area..
Unfortunately I don't know why that robot attacked a companion, it shouldn't happen. Do you have any mods that affect hostality or AI? As for sending them to settlements, recruiting them is not supported because most robots are placed in locations that are part of reset zones. Upon their original locations' reset, AI and hostality may get reset as well so the robots "go home" after a while if you're not around.
