Honestly i would love to see her tormented like that. Forced to live a life of a "lower-class" indentured slave or something similar. See what she thinks. Would make this far more satisfying than just death. Death is too good for her.
You can do that in vanilla, just murder her in her sleep. Also the "consequences" are what? Stay away from diamond city for 3 in game days and you're good!
Lol, I found her to be moreso on the 'clutzy' cranky old person that you really don't pay any mind to side of being annoying
When I first seeen her in my playthrough, she insulted me so fast and out of the blue, and my choices were so straight and to the point, that I was like, lol wha? I just basically selected what the game wanted me to, and chose the 'b****' option, without even realizing she was annoying.
It was kinda funny stuff actually. Now that rich robot up in the upper stands was way more annoying, lol he insulted your birthright
that rich robot is only pretending to be annoying to please the real annoying snobs that he is serving, you could see that he will break his mask of being snobby once piper asks him something
I rarely play with piper, actually any followers aside from mccreedy, man that follower imo is the best So I never knew this or saw that scene :O
Actually I have over 2,721.4 hours in playthrough, and still never actually discovered Curie as a follower---I got as far as her being a robot, but never actually got to finishing her quest. She just seems so boring actually, and too tedious to get her to be a full follower
It's not bad game design; it's putting emphasis on tolerance, at least in my opinion. I get why some folks want to be able to kill her, but to me, she's far less of an issue than the majority of Raiders.
I think it's also possible to kill her with the Mister Sandman perk if you break into her house at night while she's sleeping. I was able to bump off Malcolm Latimer this way, allowing me to avoid...complications for what I ended up doing to his son later.
But... but... roleplaying! It's less fun without the immersion! You gotta be "inside" of the game in a way to enjoy it to the fullest!
As about RL... while wanting to kill them is extreme, ignoring such behavior or being passive about it/letting it go unpunished promotes its existence in a way! Lack of punishment = promotion of crime! Gotta put 'em in their place right on the spot if you can, to teach 'em a lesson.
Tell me, why would my raider who despises people talking down to her, who kills settlers for much less, tolerate someone like Ann Codman? It's called roleplaying. This is (supposed to be) a roleplaying game. Sure, in real life a reasonable person would just ignore someone like her. But this is a game, and you don't have to play a reasonable person.
Raiders aren't allowed in Diamond City, so the "my Raider" remark is a silly one.
But, i tend to kill everything too what can be killed in this game, but mostly only if they get hostile, but there is so much to kill already that i don't see the point in making snobby NPC's killable. I do understand people wanting Preston and miss Lung killable, cause you see them whine everytime you're in your settlements.
But Codman you pretty much only speak to once in the entire game, i never felt the need to kill her, you can give a beautiful sneer at her with the sarcastic option, satisfying enough for a reasonable person i'd say.
But, to each his own i guess, happy killing people.

Even if they are virtual.
