One advice, that comes down to personal preference I guess, is to try and reduce the additional noise in the normalmap especially on this type of thing as bronze will remain more or less smooth when aged :) Also I found out that adding noise to the spec map (green channel especially) produces lots of weird lighting effects. Other than that this is great !
Thank you for your input. It really is appreciated. I have in fact less than 20 days of experience editing textures and less than that editing normals. This is all so new to me. I'm very much still learning my way around the intricacies of making textures, and so there's going to be a lot of stumbles and mistakes by me. So any advice you want to impart to me is very welcomed. I certainty need it and I actually crave it. Its my desire to become better. So thank you for stopping by.
