I'm not sure why this is a thing again but I guess it needs to be addressed as I've had to hide a comment on my comments section.

This file will overwrite Better Far Harbor Information Center please do not use them together.

Recomendations for best practices with this mod:

    Mod Managers:
A mod manager such as MO2 or Vortex is Recomended for this mod, support for manual installation will come as a case by case basis as I get time.

    Mod Removal
    :
It is recomended to start a new game or revert back to a previous save if you decide to remove this mod. Like UFO4P and Scrap everything this mod handles scripts and persistent worldspace edits in a manner that can have save game repercussions if removed mid-playthorugh.

NOTE: A clean save or use of Fallrim tools is not a guarantee that your save will not be corrupted.

Added a file to the optional files that is a cleanup and expansion of the Acadia Observatory interior meant to work in conjunction with Acadia Survival Tweaks by RRTV. It will work without it you just wont get the linked workbenches.

UPDATE: Version 1.0.4 of Interior tweaks removes the necessity of having to use RRTV Acadia Survival Tweaks and adds a player room with sorting containers and shared workbench storage. It will still sowrk with RRTV's mod but the shared storage will not links to the Far Harbor Player home.

WARNING: The Acadia interior Optional File has rebuilt previsibines which means it may require a patch to work with PRP. My suggested load order is after PRP if you use it. I did extensive modification of this interior and in the process I removed a lot of static meshes. If you do not like using mods that break precombines then this optional file is not for you.

Nice! Thanks for this. And I'm getting it now as it appears, from preview pic 2, that one of those locations has currently got a sale on!
    - Oh, apologies for any ignorance but would your Acadia Cleanup file go before or after RedRocket's Acadia Survival one?

Sorry, for clarity the LO should be similar to this:
      RRTV Acadia
      Far Better Far Harbor
      Acadia Cleanup (because precombines)

What are your thoughts on rolling the two FaceGen files into their parent mod BA2?  It might help some of use who are perpetually on the edge of the BA2 limit.

Yeah I can do that I wasn't sure that would work for all versions. As a work around I will upload a new version with the face gen and leave the old version available just in case.

EDIT: Also updated Acadia Survival Tweaks to include facegen as well.

Hi there. Love your mod. Question for you: Is there any reason why this mod would conflict with the following mod:

Cranberry Bog Settlement in The Island

I don't see any conflicts in x-Edit. I would caution against using any mod that breaks precombines as you will get world flickering and disappearing/reappearing objects if another mod that loads after it restores them.

Thanks for the response. The issue I'm running into is that the script to initialize the settlement never actually... runs. Dumb question, but there's nothing in your mod that would prevent a script from running when entering a specific location, is there? I assume not, but I'm trying to filter down by process of elimination.

No, the scripts in my mod are very basic and only work on buttons(activators). You can try moving that mod further down (towards the bottom) of your load order.

I previously was using your mod, version 1.2.4-FG, and received notification that an update was available. The third main file option appears to be the one I need for Fallout 4 GOTY Next-Gen, but its named as "Far Better Fallout London - Exploration Expanded", which makes it sound like its for Fallout London, not Fallout 4 GOTY Next-Gen.

Is it mislabeled for Fallout London? Which main file download should I be using with Fallout 4 Next-Gen?

Another question, what is the Acadia Interior Cleanup and Additions REDUX main file for and can it be used with the Far Better Far Harbor - Exploration Expanded main file? Both main files seem to come in Next-Gen (NG) and Old-Gen (OG) versions.

My Apologies, I renamed the archive and forgot to rename the file name on nexus.

      1. Far Better Fallout London - Exploration Expanded has been renamed to the proper name of Far Better Far Harbor - Exploration Expanded (FBFH) for the Next Gen (NG) version.

      2. Acadia Survival tweaks adds interior edits to Acadia Observatory and adds a small player home with 3 preset themes. You can use it with Far Better Far Harbor - Exploration Expanded it must load after FBFH.

      3. If you have the GOG version or pre-Next Gen update use the OG version

      4. If you have the current Steam version use the NG versions.

      Load order:
Far Better Far Harbor - Exploration Expanded
      Acadia Survival Tweaks

      Hope this helps

Would the NG version work with simple fallout 4 downgrader FO4? (OG version but with NG CC content)
Asking because it says it's for X-Cell, which I also have the latest version of lol

It should. Basically the difference is the facegen for NG (x-Cell). The OG version is just for the fully downgraded or Gog Version.

I'm sure this is a dumb question but this wouldn't conflict with mods that alter worldspace in commonwealth (Diamond city expansion, Goodneighbor expanded), correct? Thank you for making the game so much better.

It was just a poorly named archive file. I renamed and uploaded should be fixed now.

I'm not sure if my problem is caused by this mod, but it's likely. In the town you first set foot and in Cliffs Edge Hotel there are pavement/ground textures/objects that pop in and out depending on my perspective. I use PRP and placed your mods accordingly in the load order. Any idea what it could be? I also use pregenerated LOD from TMR

It's a PRP incompatibility with a mod that loads after PRP.esp. BetterFarHarbor_Open.esp does not break precombines so issues with flashing objects in far harbor would be a mod that conflicts with PRP.

to trouble shoot this move PRP.esp to the bottom of your load order and reload the world space, if the problem persists send a bug report to the PRP team.

      Thanks.

How do I know for sure I have this installed correctly? I downloaded it in Vortex and it is showing as installed but I just cleared out the Far Harbor Visitor Center, via completing "The Hold Out" quest,  from Trappers, sent Uncle Ken back to his son and made it a settlement but it is still in disrepair.  Is the Information Center different from the National Park Visitor's Center?

Of the plugins you point out:
    Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esm
    PPF.esm
    BetterFarHarbor_Open.esp
    PRP.esp
    FBFH_EE_Acadia_Cleanup.esp

I only have the BetterFarHarbor_Open.esp one.  My Fallout 4 is as updated as I can get.  I do not have the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esm because I never felt comfortable installing this one.  I am on Windows 10 PC and using the Steam version but I don't think a "Game Of The Year" version.

Do I need to download each file manually and install them via Vortex that way. Given I've finished The Hold Out and fully created a settlement can I still install the FBFH_EE_Acadia_Cleanup.esp file?

If so, which files as I am not playing from GOG and do not know what FACEGEN for X-CELL USERS means.

Sorry, This mod is not tied to game quests. It is a series of worldspace additions (new explorable areas like a house or a red rocket) additionally it has some interior spaces to loot and some player homes with shared storage. The harbor home (on the docks) is unlocked by a key that is found when in the building where you meet the harbormaster after the big fight ( top of the stairs turn left turn left into the first door, turn around look at the wall and a key is hanging. that's it no quests or anything fancy.

The Main file section only has 4 files total.
Two files are for the main mod Far Better Far Harbor - Exploration Expanded.
Two files are for Acadia Interior Cleanup and Additions REDUX.

Of those pair, one is for "OG", Old Gen and one includes "FG", FacGen for X-Cell users who are running the FaceGen option.

can you make a non facegen x-cell whatever that is mod please? i don't have either, and this is still a confusing comment, I don't want to download facegen or xcell whatever it was!

I own fallout 4, i have the latest version, i've not downgraded! And i don't really want to downgrade!

Been using your mod since it first came out, and you've made all these abbreviations lately and im stuck and unable to update because of this confusion!

      Q. can you make a non facegen x-cell whatever that is mod please? i don't have either, and this is still a confusing comment, I don't want to download facegen or xcell whatever it was!

      A. Already exists, download the OG version

      Q. I own fallout 4, i have the latest version, i've not downgraded! And i don't really want to downgrade!

      A. No need, remain calm and don't upgrade FBFH from the last version. The content has not changed, I've only split the files into 2 categories for convenience of those who use X-Cell and Face gen, and those who do not. The patch notes will tell you if/when I've made content changes.

      Q. Been using your mod since it first came out, and you've made all these abbreviations lately and im stuck and unable to update because of this confusion!

      A. There is a reason you are confused, it has very little to do with my naming conventions. The Fallout 4 modding community has established common abbreviations to assist those who create mods to help those who use mods (much like any system). This process standardizes terms in an effort to remove confusion, however, it does require some participation from the end user to keep up with changes in terminology. There are several resources that can assist in minimizing your confusion.

      Here are some resources:
      The Fallout Wiki
The Collective Modding Discord (Banner on my main page)

      Thanks.
