If you want the gunshots to echo and sound somewhat more realistic like in my video, you can try out Reverb and Ambiance Overhaul, I fully recommend for you to use this as it also divides indoor and outdoor sound effects.
Best Colt 1911 out there right now but pretty lame you have to download a not-so-lore-friendly USP Pistol for it... Why didn't you just copied the animation keywords and sight assets for the USP and put them in the mod itself?
I mean do you really? I mean let's say if you have asked him and you have given him about a month to reply I think that's pretty fair. If not, I would put it in the mod anyways and if he doesn't like that, you will hear from him eventually lol. But that's how I would have done it.
Personally, I think the whole 'permission' stuff is a bit overrated. It's not like you are stealing money from people... You steal a bit of gaming fun to tweak it so people can enjoy themselves even more... what a crime!
Me and subleader(original author of HK USP) talked before I decided to let this project to go public so that I could have access to its' attachments and animations, it was agreed that USP's animation files will not be included in the mod. As much as the permission talk goes, I still have to pay basic respect to other content creators, even if they don't show up to respond to my messages I won't just use their works assuming I could have their consent.
But the idea you proposed was in fact the original idea of this mod, it's not my intention to bug people to ask them to download more requirements which they shouldn't have to. Good news is from now on I will be working on the animations for my mods. This mod is not bad but still it's my very first gun mod, therefore I can sure make something better out of it, when I return to M1911 in the future I will try to redo this entire mod with even better assets.
@Ruthdufy Modders can't just rip off other peoples work and post it up for grabs. Mod users are free to do what they want on their PC though. You can do everything you said on your PC - so long as you don't post it up for distribution.
Probably late to this. But I found that if you download both mods but then just disable the HkUSP ESP you can still use the 1911 like fine. I tested it and had no issues.
The biggest issue with "Lore Friendly" isn't that the weapon shouldn't exist - but that it shouldn't exist in the pristine, straight from the factory unblemished form - in mass quantities as regular drops.
This mod more resembles the kind of used weapon you'd expect to find. ---- Those kind of weapons (i.e. the pristine looking ones) in mass quantities are for the people that play this as a sandbox - like a post-apocalyptic Tarkov where they ignore the storyline. In that case, everything is fair game anyway - lore be damned.
Good afternoon. Excellent mod, the only one question: Is it possible to fix the front sight reticle, is it a little lower, or can you recommend utilities for fixing it yourself?

Just a quick thing I wanted to bring to attention (and I know I am in the minority, given all the hate the USP gets). The Misc mods in the 1911 .esp for the Lower Rail Flashlights seem to be direct overrides from the USP .esp file. This causes the loose mod (when removed) to only be recognized (to be reattached) to the 1911 and not back to the USP. This causes the player to have to build a new Lower Rail mod for the USP, instead of being able to use a previously created mod. My guess is that the MiscMod defaults to the 1911 because it is loaded later. I went into FO4Edit and fixed the issue for myself, but wanted to type this out in the event any other person ran into the same issue.
Sorry for the late reply but this mod is no longer receiving supports, I will redo the 1911 at some point, there were many mistakes made in this mod, no excuses but me being a noob. I'm working on other projects rn but if you want just follow my profile for future updates, this mod and the MCX Spear are both getting a redux and StG will get animation updates
Best M1911 out there right now but a shame you have to download the Un-lore-friendly USP Pistol for it. Thank god we can disable the USP's esp and use only it's assets for the Colt. It's still works wonderfully.
It's my first gun mod and I was really inexperienced doing it, this mod just took me a week to figure out and I didn't know about animating. But the m1911 is getting a redux eventually once I complete the projects in hand, with new everything and standalone etc
