I'm a little confused because Ive never been able to get the STS MCM to work with the replacer version as the add version esp is required for it to work. Does this fix that issue? Either way this is awesome, thanks so much!
(Tested and confirmed that the MCM doesn't work with the replacer version even with this patch, should I be installing the add version and then overwriting with this esp? Thanks!)
You chose the wrong version during installation of the STS MCM, and they absolutely work. That being said, STS MCM doesn't appear to have full functionality at the very least with this installed. TR patch doesn't appear to work.
Maybe I don't understand something, but how do I remove the vanilla 8x long scope? No matter what version of the mod I install, this vanilla scope still appears. I don't understand why.
Okay, I found a developer comment that says the vanilla long scope is not being replaced. Surely he has his own reasons for this, however, it is disappointing. Is there a mod that removes vanilla scopes completely?
That would be great! If this information helps, these scopes remain vanilla: "Long Scope", "Short Night Vision Scope", "Medium Night Vision Scope" and "Long Night Vision Scope". You could make a new mod or make an optional file for those who also don't want vanilla scopes in their game. This would be very useful, because, I've been looking and no one has done anything like this yet.
Is it intended that the settings of the original mod are completely overwritten? For example, I had set that I can switch from 3rd person to 1st person sniper mode with all weapons, this is now ignored. Or I had set the grenades to be blocked when the mouse button held my breath. That doesn't work anymore either.
Only uninstalling the mod helped, so I suspect this is the cause.
Well, then that's probably an issue with the MCM, I can't think of any way that this mod would interfere with that, all it's doing now is disabling some crafting recipes, and not automatically giving you the settings tape (although it can still be constructed at the chem bench)
I reported it as a bug there. Wait and see. Are you perhaps planning a version without MCM as a hard requirement? If necessary, the holo can be restored via the chemistry station if this function is not disabled.

cause it was overwriting the official STS
my question is "it is safe?"

That's my setting and there should be no message.
The correct setting is displayed in the holotape, which unfortunately MCM does not accept. MCM is unfortunately useless for this.

PS: And the holotape will be visible if I temporarily deactivate the mod here. All nice.
