OVT --> Targeted --> Valius --> whatever else (personally like FlaconOil). Whatever landscape mods you have like Vivid will be low conflict-wise. Targeted just touches forsythia and vines and a few small ground textures like the pot holes. Small note that mods like OVT are mostly bs however.
Seeing that you're a supporter, you probably need to cap your downloads to a reasonable size. Try 100 mb, and keep lowering by 10, and repeat as needed
I can't say for sure, but I think these 2 mods are compatible with each other.
I'm currently following TMR & TMR Extended Guide. The guide last updated on 09th July (meaning it's not abandoned/outdated). The guide is known for someone looking for stability and performance in their game with mods, but also not straying too far from the original game (Vanilla+).
And in that guide these 2 mods are listed there, and no patch is ever mentioned in the guide for these 2 mods. (I can only assume that these 2 mods work perfectly fine together, otherwise it would probably be in "Mods to Avoid" section of their guide. They also explain the reason why
That sounds like it may be an incorrect ini try using Bethini Pie setting it to your prefered setting (Mines Ultra) then select recommended settings and save it.
Then read this guide and comment section on how to manipulate your inis to stop the low res pop in.
If all else fails reinstall ENB binaries, ENB preset and Weather mod from scratch.
First of all thanks for replying,I'll try to make sense now so my problem is with the textures as mentioned, when I boot up my game they look crisp and beautiful you can see the detail in the clothing and armor and everything around me but when I fast travel or play the game for more than 20 minutes or go in diamond city or anywhere with a loading sceen, the textures just become very ugly like the armor and clothing, the detail in everything around me look like a game from 2000 except for my face textures because they look really good but I lose all the good textures from clothing, armor, environment and everything else.
Have you considered setting the ESM flag on this plugin?
That would make it automatically load earlier in the load order, so that it's less likely to override other texture mods that completely change some textures instead of just improving the existing ones.
The esp name has not changed. It’s still just Targeted Textures. The Folder name has changed but that won’t affect any functionality. You can rename it whatever you like.
Is there a list of which textures are AI upscales and which are community resources (Whichever is smaller)? I'm not a fan of upscales, I can read the "tells" of them and they don't look that great to me because of it-so I'd like to remove them all and keep the rest. The Fallon's sign in particular -- it's an obvious BRSGAN.
I don’t use BSRGAN. These aren’t simple batched AI upscales. AI has been used as an assistant tool rather than being relied on to make the entire texture. I list all of the community content used at the bottom of the description.
Thank you for the reply. Sorry about the jump to a conclusion; that one sign just seemed pretty AI and looked a little watery to my eyes. It's all subjective though

You say to load after Valius guessing this will work on top of whatever other vanilla packs?
Should it load after or before other big packs as well? Savren / Vivid?
Load order for instance
Optimised Vanilla Textures
Valius
Targeted Textures
*everything else*
?
TIA

People who need it load early should turn it into an esm in FO4Edit.
the one in my loadorder is Targeted Textures - Vanilla textures upscaled fixed and sized.esp...
really weird that the esp have different names @@
