    Hi, decided to install LiTR a couple of days ago, but after downloading most of the data I'm getting the error 'Unable to download Fallout.exe..Data_xxx etc'. Is this something on my end or have I chosen the possible worst time to get going again with the new update?

      yes, those are update errors. There's a pre-release available through my discord, or just wait until the next update comes out. Probably sometime in the next few days.

      Thanks! Also, I was trying to give a companion a different weapon but it wouldn't let me, saying the y couldn't carry anymore items. Is that part of the mods or something I can do down the line?

    Does the wabbajack list require a steam version of fallout 4, or is GOG also acceptable?

    Just started playing LITR this weekend. Im confused how to mod/upgrade weapons in game. Do I have to purchase the upgrade from a vendor or something?

    Trying Life in the Ruins for the first time but I can't get "FO4LODGen Resources". Mega says the file is not available.

      Install through wabbajack. You don't need those to play the list.

    Is it possible to adjust fade in distance of undiscovered locations on the compass? I'm playing on hard in case that helps.

      As per wabbajack rule 11, modified lists are officially unsupported, but there is a channel in the LitR discord for community discussion of modifying the list.

    Everything else works except the unique replacers for some reason.

      Unless you've modified the list and broken things or have a corrupted install they work just fine.

      oddly enough, I've tested and spawned some of them and I found that it's zynx's shotgun, ack's chaingun and big jim are the ones that don't get replaced but I can spawn the actual tacticool shotgun, wasteland chaingun and fury beans and their models work just fine.
