About this mod

You can build vanilla Settlers (selectable sex, face) and customizable unique Settlers (individually changeable name, voice type and appearance) as well.

About this mod:

It's a pretty simple mod that lets you build Settlers in Workshop Mode, just like Turrets. You can build vanilla Settlers and custom Settlers.


Vanilla Settlers: in the Workshop Menu, you can build a Settler by choosing one of the vanilla face presets. Since they are visible in the build mode, you can select their face and sex.

Custom Settlers: you can build individually customizable Settlers too. They are in the Optional Files "Custom Settler - Female/Male". Please see "Customization Option" for details. 


Settlers can be stored in the workbench... if you do so, items from their inventory will be transferred to the workshop workbench of the settlement where you store them.

Settlers' location: Workshop Mode >> Resources >> Miscellaneous.




Customization Options:

Custom Settlers are individually customizable. You can rename them, change their voice type, and they support character customization (SLM and any mod added character customizer).

Rename: you need to have F4SE and the ESL version of the main mod file installed. 
The custom console command's syntax:

CQF SettlerSpawner_Quest Rename RefID NewName

It should look like this: CQF SettlerSpawner_Quest Rename FF123456 Alex. This would rename the Settler whose RefID is FF123456 to Alex.

If you leave the parameter NewName empty, they will be renamed back to "Settler".

SetVoiceType
you need to have the ESL version of the main mod file installed. The custom console command's syntax:

CQF SettlerSpawner_Quest SetVoiceType RefID NewName VoiceTypeIndex

It should look like this: CQF SettlerSpawner_Quest SetVoiceType FF123456 1. This would change the voice type of the Settler whose RefID is FF123456 to FemaleBoston (because this voice type's VoiceTypeIndex is 1).

VoiceTypeIndex values:
0 = Default (sets back the Settler's voice type to default)
1 = FemaleBoston (e.g., Connie Abernathy)
2 = FemaleEvenToned (e.g., Sarah (Kellogg's wife), Stash, Eve)
3 = FemaleRough (e.g., Trudy)
4 = MaleBoston (e.g., Blake Abernathy)

5 = MaleEvenToned (e.g., Jake Finch, Art)
6 = MaleRough (e.g., Wolfgang, Male Caravan Guards)


Show/Hide Settlers from the Workshop Menu by Sex: you can hide female/male/all settlers from the Workshop Menu ("build menu") by changing a mod added global variable. The custom console command's sytax:

Set SettlerSpawner_WorkshopMenuHideShowSettlersIndex to SettlerIndex

It should look like this: Set SettlerSpawner_WorkshopMenuHideShowSettlersIndex to 1. Now only female settlers are visible in the build menu.


SettlerIndex values:
0 = Both female and male settlers are visible (default)
1 = Female settlers are visible only
2 = Male settlers are visible only
Any other value = None of them are visible, i.e. all settlers are hidden from the Workshop Menu



Requirements:

It has no requirements except the "Rename" command, this and only this feature requires F4SE.
