Hey, If your glory happens to be a dead ash pile like mine was, go to the railroad HQ and use these commands to resurrect her there: 000508EE.moveto player 000508EE.resurrect (do this twice as she may have issues after the first resurrect). After you've resurrected her, start the dialogue with Z1 just before he tells you to warn Desdemona about the BOS. This fixed Desdemona not talking to me during the questline.
I can tell you even as of June 2022 that in fact the latest F4 build does not fix this. I hope this patch will fix it. In over 6000 hours playing I finally wanted to try a Railroad only playthrough, and this (bizarre) Bethesda choice to allow her to die at Malden stopped me dead. In another character it was the Institute elevator taking me to see Father for the first time (physical trigger so couldn't tcl myself to the destination) that stopped dead that playthrough.
Good one Bethesda. Also why doesn't the Unofficial Patch fix this? I mean they clearly have time to rotate a rock at Croup Manor (breaking precombines, true story), so why not something useful? So many questions! lol
UPDATE! The last patch does in fact fix this issue, provided she's been resurrected already. Please reload your broken game and try again, my mod is no longer required.
This bug is present even in latest patch there is still a "ghost" Glory walking around the Railroad after MM ending just had it in my latest playthrough
Looks like it may be fixed now, in some circumstances it will remove the quest entirely (and setstage won't work as its been failed). Others, if you resurrect her, it allows you to progress.
It *might* be possible if we get the Geck, can assign a new actor ID to Glory which spawns her in if she's dead with the right coding to be usable on the quest that'll beat the bug, but sadly FO4Edit doesn't seem to have this ability. This is why my file only works if Glory didn't die prior, kind of annoying.
I have been experimenting with different console setstage commands, but found if you managed to end Undercover Underground, you can't spawn Precipice of War until the stages after Glory's bit is done, and it still messes things up like no spawning of certain vehicles that are kinda required.
Lols were had but yeah, kind of crappy to make an NPC required for future quests and forget they can die on one. I'd have forgiven Bethesda if her death would have failed the future railroad quests. Sort of.
I mentioned this in the description for this mod. There's some NPCs there which also need to be set essential on the Prydwyn (they don't appear to be named NPCs), but I wasn't about to find out who as going up there to just kill everyone before you get a quest to do so is definitely the spirit of Fallout, but not quest progression.
Just like with Glory, if we could get into the quest code a bit better, we could just spawn in the necessary Brotherhood NPCs with unique actor IDs that follow along the quest requirements. But, I'm not wanting to try to figure out exactly who is required as that would be a serious pain.
Yeah noticed that, been trying to add one to her loot table but its not sticking very well (only shows up on a few different recycles for rolling the inventory).

- In "The End of the Line," fixed an issue that would prevent the player from killing the leaders of the Railroad.
Can you please take a look into the new patch. Maybe they really fixed it officially. ^^
