Hi, I'm probably being super dumb, but for the life of me I can't get this mod to work. Is there another mod I need? is there a setting config I forgot to do? I can't seem to figure this out which sucks because everyone is saying how simple it is to use. Could someone walk me through the installation steps like I'm five?

If you allow it, would you kindly update the permissions tab of the mod to greenlight the console port? This is a necessary precaution all porters must take to avoid bogus takedowns on bethnet.
It's a simple and cool mod. Very useful for clearing skeletons. I don't want to accidentally dismantle live NPCs, so I've created a patch file with xEdit to target only dead NPCs from the start. If it doesn't bother you, I would like to upload it and make it public.
Scrap dead things is great but i would prefer being able to send a robot or a settler around to gather the dead things and clean up blood. deposit the scrapped materials found into the inventory of the workshop. thing that most annoys me about fallout 4 is they put so much effort into having debris for the apocalypse but no way to clear it. for some reason i love building settlements but debris that just stays there just feels like it will never be able to flourish well, should be a small amount of debris.
This mod works well still. Don't use with scrap everything. Pick which one you want.
I use to use scrap everything but don't anymore because scrap everything removes things you should not. Some items may have navmesh underneath it. If you remove the structure, you will not change the navmesh. This will cause NPC confusion. Because of this I don't use scrap everything and only use this mod.
@DagothBalls Scrap Everything even in safe mode isn't completely safe AFAIK. It's more a safeguard from seriously borking your game. Raze My Settlement+Clean My Settlement is recommended for safe scrapping these days.
Do you know if this mod breaks pre-combines? Im using Commomwealth Recclamation Project and it says not to use any scrapping mods that break pre-combines, but i need somehting to get rid of all the corpses sick of them literring my settlements i'm under constant ghoul attacks from Zombie Walkers mod (which i like) but it leaves piles and piles of bodies that dont always go away.
@bucky Precombines are mostly/exclusively static textures you can't move. The following lines in your Fallout4Custom.ini (document folder) ensure that the game keeps your precombines intact for better stability and performance:
Thank you very much for the suggested mods. I was always so afraid of mods involving scrapping, especially after disasters I encountered with Scrap Everything. Now I can have better peace of mind while also enjoying cleaner settlements.
This mod works great but for some places the bodies cant be scraped and there don't disappear either they just have flies around them. Places like hangman's alley and outpost zimonja Why can't I scrap the bodies? How do I fix this?
