    Great replacer. Although for some reason these weapons don't seem to be using AP during VAFS' time slow, not sure why, checked xEdit and the AP cost is there. Hmmm, must be missing some compatibility keyword, maybe?

      I did not make the japanese officer sword esp, was kindly made by another user as back then didnt have the kinowledge to make one, but checked it out and can not see anything a miss either, both have matching keywords to default chinese sword. Strange, sorry not sure what could be causing the issue

      No worries, it's not that big of a deal and it's still a great mod, thanks for trying to help.

      EDIT: Okay I found the culprit, it's the CyberOut animations. It seems they don't have any AP cost associated to them (during VATS/VAFS), although I'm not sure how one would go about adding an AP cost to these animations.

      it replaces the chinese officer sword, not a new weapon.....

    Rather than Katana, it looks more like the Tang Dao, which is a prototype to the Kanata before the Japanese implement it

      there is two files with different designs.

      yea I know, both of them look more like Chinese Dao, the straight edge ones are called "Tang Dao", and the curved one looks like Willow Leaf Saber than a Katana

      Sorry wont be adjusted the actual sword but do recomend cyber out animation its basicly the best katan/two hand heavy salashing weapon animation.

    This had me thinking at first "Well why would there be Japanese katanas from the Chinese?" and then I realized that it perfectly makes sense; going off of this, I would totally love to see you do a Ming dandao. Melee is so lackluster in this game, so bringing some more swords in would be sweet.

    ALSO although I have no mods, if you want to collab and you provide me a texture, I can assist in retexturing for you if you'd like! 9 years as a digitial artist here.

    IF you want to make a chinese katana like weapon, please look up tang dynasty era dao those predate katana.

    I know katana is japanese and the OG sword is Chinese, but IDC and this is meant for use with cyber out animation.

      I've used some of your NV mods, happy to see a legend coming to Fallout 4. Gotta ask, why not just make it standalone?

      thanks, in all honesty I am not 100% sure on the eaxcts of making a stand alone weapon settings in f04 fully, usualy ended up just merging or replacing or doing custom clothe/cel edits.

      I can look into doing a standa alone but construction lists etc etc im not 100% sure on.

      I actually happened to mess around with making a standalone sword the other day (ported from Skyrim, cannot release for legal reasons.) You can basically do the whole thing in xedit. Constructible mods for weapons are set up using a keyword.
