@superduperawesomekablamer Google Drive has a upload limit of like 15 gigs, All the files are 70 gigs in total. Nexus is free to upload but you get a DL limit of 1.5/3 MBs, Just download overnight & let your PC running, Is what I did. edit: Mediafire also has a limit of 15 free gigs.
Back 2023, i basically sat here for an afternoon and downloaded every single pack. Packed it all in a rar, and kept it on my backup SSD. Highly worth doing, just time consuming.
Its insane how downloading BIGGER TEXTURES actually makes my game run smoother. Can't recommend this mod enough dude, It's just a must have at this point.
Because of the nature of the files... you don't really have to install them as it were.
Just extract to a folder (or the Data folder itself after you have compared and backed up the ones these replace) and just overwrite the ones that are there. No need to boggle down your MOD or Vortex with an even longer list.. though managers do make it easier.
Okay... in an attempt to try and get rid of the black face issue... I downloaded 15 files, removed the original HD pack and followed the instructions.
Now... all my NPCs (followers) have permanent black face... and so does the Sole Survivor.
Any cure?
Note.. there are two different ways of downloading overhaul sets for the entire game (kinda)... and this happened with both attempts. With the crappy original HD pack that comes from Bethesda, the face issue is random. Now I'm stuck with it.
I have a few CBBE body slides, KS Hairdos and Ponytail Hairstyles... that's it.
Best guess otherwise, would be the endless list of Quest or New Location mods... unless follower mods can have textures that affect one another or kill off the vanilla.
@Jellisellis It would be useless to use Vivid Fallout - AiO with this. You're just overriding them. In my honest & totally unbiased opinion. This mod is way better, Vivid Fallout - AiO looks way too detailed & off-looking for my likes. As a bonus, (at least for me) this mod makes my game run smoother.
all files, choose the manual option and when they're done copy and paste them into your data folder. make sure to backup your original files somewhere just in case you need to revert the changes.

Just installed them all separately, They're not plugins so don't attribute to the 256 limit.

and all is right with the world again... thanks for the heads up, truly appreciated.
Spoke too soon... not even 2k face textures resolved the issue. Got to be another mod doing it... oh well, it's livable after all this time.
Download Long Loading Times Fix & it's requirements.
I already have a loading time fix mod anyway.
Does this mod work will with Vivid Fallout - AIO or is it better to use one or the other?
