Works great for Codsworth with SS2 plots, dont Know about Nick since i always send companions to their houses if they have one of course, so for Nick is back to Diamond city. If anyone knows about this fix but for Courie please let me know
I tried everything, even older saves, disable and enable back the characters, but it doesn't work for Nick. Nick was working perfectly before I asked him to follow me again (after we already reached the max affinity, after completing Far Harbor). The only thing I can think I made different is when I did infiltrate into the Institute for the first time. He was my companion, but only the main character is allowed inside, so he didn't follow me there. ,,, I can't think about anything else that may have triggered the bug. Anyway, this mod doesn't work for me unfortunately.
Cannot enable this mod for some reason. I followed all the tutorials possible but it keeps disabling itself. I can actually assign codsworth to something but then, after i fast travel or exit from the game, it is unemployed again.
Did someone find this problem and solved it somehow?
This mod works great for Codsworth, haven't gotten Nick yet so will update later. Codsworth is now in charge of guarding my bank in Sanctuary until I unlock Greygarden and will send him there to take over security. Thanks Larann!
Amazing that this is the only mod I can find to address this bug. Truly a big thanks for that.
It doesn't look like you're updating this anymore? Someone below suggested Deezer and Goodfeels and you seemed receptive to it but never added it. Just in case, I thought I'd ask if you were planning to update it, and maybe include the gray garden bots?
Or perhaps just, if this is something I can replicate with console commands? I'm also using a General Atomics Galleria settlement mod and would like to be able to reassign specifically the three or four mr handy's in the bowling alley.
I wanted to let you know unless it has already been pointed out by others, that this also happens with other settlers, in particular assigned to the drinks manufacturer vault-tec
Wait so how did you fix this? I kinda have this issue with Strong as well when I try to assign him to Supermutant workshop items (i.e: Supermutant Bed and scavenging station)
I'm probably a bit late but I think the original post refers to the fact that most of the time in a mod title he is identified as "Nick Valentine", not "Nick".
