I really want to play with this mod, but the offsite requirement to use the bethsoft launcher and ingame bethsoft mod menu is a hard pass for me because it constantly screws up other mods and load order.
If we could get some sort of download link to the actual files to install through NMM or vortex or even manually, that would be wonderful.
Start game via Steam, not Mod manager Click on mods , get the mod you want, install it Exit game Find the mod in the mod folder (or search for it via explorer) Pack the corresponding files (bsa etc ) into a zip, move the zip to the download folder where you normaly download mods to Start game, delete mod again Install mod via Mod manager and start game as usual.
Problem solved... you just don't get updates of the mods easy, but hey. Who cares.
One problem with that is Bethesda seems to demand update which breaks my load order itself to get their stuff. The NG update seems to limit things on mods that updated for it as well, as in features were REMOVED for the update to work so many that did update their game had to revert anyway. I had to revert myself, rarely do new mods demand the update knowing it actually causes more trouble.
So, in short it seems downloading one file requires updating the game first, get the mod, then revert the game back again etc., with a bad connection it begs the question is it worth it but hey it looks nice anyway. I downloaded this before noticing all that, though I have the mod from before it was removed so the esp is there anyway even if item is not :)
Yes the NG update made all of this more complicated. Unfortunately, Creative Clutter remains only available through Bethnet so if you don't have it already and want to be on OG it's a real problem. The truth is that I just cannot separate this mod from its Creative Clutter dependency because without Creative Clutter, there's kind of nothing left as most of the HQ rooms I designed here feature a ton of Creative Clutter items as a main aspect of the design. This means if you want to stay on OG and don't want to download via Bethnet then you probably can't really use this mod.
nice addition, but would you kindly post a link to crative clutter (the version you're using) that is not on Bethesda.net? anywhere but that page since it has screwed up my game and load order before, i'm not complaining about the mod but the hosted page is terrible
indeed, can't put the download link to the "other" page but if you search well enough on google you may find a page that contains mods deleted from nexus by the authors during last year's change of terms and the massive quitting that brought with it
Upon first reading the description I saw Pantry Raid as "Panty Raid" and immediately saw the words Vending Machine below it. Had a good laugh for a second. Thanks for that.
I am seeing a large amount of hyperbole about a link to bethesda.net breaking games. It doesn't. You will need to ensure in your mod manager that all of your mods are still enabled after using bethesda.net, and you may need to re-sort your load order. It's not any different to downloading creation club items.
As Yagi said - you just have to re-enable your plugins if your mod manager disables them. I use Mod Organizer 2 and it has no problem using Bethesda.net. Sometimes Vortex does.
Fallout has completely collapsed, even the new game didn't help, I'll have to completely uninstall fallout 4 and reinstall it. This is the first time after installing the mod!!!
