Version 1.6
- Major change in the removal of the few item edits the main mod has in order to have them in a dedicated item patch instead.
- Item patch updates, more objects either named anew or renamed so it's easier to understand what is being scrapped.
- Several lists partitioned to allow "Scrap Slightly Less" patch to do a better job, including; doors, NPCs, terminals
- Scrap Slightly Less has received a huge update, preventing the scrapping of quite a lot more items. Using this patch turns the mod into more of a "tidying" tool rather than a "renovating" tool.
- Additional furniture and decoration has been added to scrap lists, thanks Lehrax for providing easy cell reference and video for these items
- Sanctuary mailbox text added to scraplists, thanks to vimesUK for video reference
- Some levelled NPCs had escaped the wrath of 1.5, they've been hunted down and added to the scrap lists.
- Further clean-up performed, there were a couple accidental duplicate recipes and the like.
- Rail tracks added (reminder to use the "Scrap Slightly Less Actually" patch if you do not want to be able to change terrain in your world)
- Roads added (reminder to use the "Scrap Slightly Less Actually" patch if you do not want to be able to change terrain in your world)
- Sidewalks added (reminder to use the "Scrap Slightly Less Actually" patch if you do not want to be able to change terrain in your world)
- Collision boxes added. (reminder to use the "Scrap Slightly Less Actually" patch if you do not want to be able to change technical objects in your world)
- Portal markers added. (reminder to use the "Scrap Slightly Less Actually" patch if you do not want to be able to change technical objects in your world)
- Spline markers added. Splines are ropes and wires btw. (reminder to use the "Scrap Slightly Less Actually" patch if you do not want to be able to change technical objects in your world)
- Bird markers added.
- Missing items relevant to Drumlin Diner and Peabody House have been added. What kind of settlement mod author would I be if I didn't let the player raze them to the ground?
- NPC animation recipes rebalanced to give 1x Subway Token. Yes I know this sounds weird, but 1x bobby pin or bottle cap each both add up to a lot in many settlements, but there's not really any truly useless items in the game. Subway Tokens are still worth 1x Bottle Caps, but you at least have to go to the effort of selling them. The recipe had to give something in return, or it wasn't possible for the player to read the name of what they were scrapping.
- Serious housekeeping on the Diner lists, they were a mess. Now they're not.
-
Version 1.5.1
- The most minor update imaginable; bug fixed thistles being in the wrong form list. Not sure how that happened. But also! Made a patch.
- Optional patch that prevents the main mod from scrapping landscape, large stuctures and the like have been added, so you can tweak your scrapping experience.
- Dedicated item patch added. This patch gives names to a large number of objects in the game that don't have names set, which makes it easier for players to understand what it is they're highlighting for scrap. Patch is kind of beta-ish, it will continue to be expanded.

Version 1.5
- All of the jackapoint entries have now been completely rewritten or removed in order to clean this mod up, but I'll leave the credit intact because I wouldn't have gathered the motivation to get started if it weren't for those contributions!
- The main focus of this update is organisation and adding corpse clean-up, as well as becoming a foundation for a much more expansive scrap mod going forwards. As a result, this mod now requires Automatron, Far Harbor, and Nuka World, in addition to the base game. The purpose of this mod will not be to give wholly realistic components back, but to give components back that are at least in the right ballpark. In order to do this, I've re-organised everything into categories based on main component. This generalist/umbrella approach will allow for much more rapid object addition in future.
- Also contains many QoL changes,
- All ghouls and Feral Ghouls added to scrap lists.
- All humans/human factions added to scrap lists. (Includes gen3 Synths)
- All Gen1 & Gen2 Synths added to scrap lists.
- All robots added to scrap lists. (assaultrons, mr handys, sentrybots, etc)
- All supermutants added to scrap lists. (supermutants, behemoths, hounds)
- All insects added to scrap lists. (bloatfly, stingwings, radscorpions, etc)
- All animals added to scrap lists. (cats, dogs, brahmin, etc)
- All monsters added to scrap lists. (mirelurks, fog crawlers, deathclaws, etc)
- All skeletons added to scrap lists.
- Extensive re-organisation of furniture subcategories into wood, metal, fabric, and plastic categories, and additional furniture added.
- Extensive re-organisation of landscape lists into ground, foliage, rocks, trees, etc. categories, and additional landscape added.
- Extensive re-organisation of vehicle lists into type categories, and additional vehicles added.
- Extensive re-organisation of building parts lists into wooden, metal, and concrete categories, and additional building parts added.
- Extensive re-organisation of decoration items, to group them together by similar components, and additional decoration items added.
- Viscera added, which covers all those little bits of gore you can't pick up normally. Exploded body parts, eyeballs, and the like.
- Nuka-World doesn't contain any clothes or armor scrap recipes for some reason, so that's now fixed too. When you scrap Operator clothes, they don't just disappear into the ether now. Far Harbor does appear to have scrap support though, so those remain as they are.
- Rebalanced the trash recipe. Previously it gave adhesive, because I was thinking about how there's a lot of binders you can make out of random ingredients, but considering the amount of trash in the game this gets ridiculous fast. Now it no longer gives adhesive (sorry).
- Important for this particular update: Intact building parts and pieces, roads, and similar are not included this time around (though much of the work to add them has been done). The intention is to make it so it's possibly to use this mod without selecting important landscape like the sanctuary roads.
- June 2024: It'd be bonkers to try and list everything I've added since I last updated this page, so all I can really say is... thousands of items are now covered and you can scrap several Commonwealth settlements down to the ground. Enjoy!

Version 1.4
- Some fairly rare objects added this time, but relevant to Fallon's, Somerville Place and Bunker Hill
- Stone Benches added (all variations)
- Stone Statue Parts added (Somerville Place may be the only area in the entire game to use this)
- Steam Pipes Added (a large number of pipe variations previously not included under utility or industrial pipes)
- Broken Wood Chunk (all variations)
- Chairs (statics not covered previously)
- Couch (three new recipes covering fabric, leather, and other couches)
- Supermutant Totems (additional variations)
- Meat Bags (additional variations)
- Steel Bars (additional variations)
- Supermutant Camp metal items (all variations)
- RailRoad Markings (all RailRoad signs)
- Supermutant Camp netting items (all variations)
- Gift Shop sign (QOL improvements to come to sign sorting in a future update)
-
Version 1.3 (upcoming)
- QOL improvements and clean-ups to jackapoints recipes, removing duplicates, removing unlinked forms, separating object lists that don't go together, outputs like scrapping wood giving you steel have been fixed (this is an ongoing WIP and will continue in future updates)
- Subway Fences added (all variations)
- Bus Stops added (all variations)
- Concrete Chunks added (a set of rarely-used edge and debris chunks)
- Industrial Machines added (now includes every single SCOL machine in vanilla & Nuka World)
- Machine Parts added (a fairly random set of stuff previously missed)
- Set Pieces added (Parking Lot sign, a missed Nuka World sign)
- Doors added (more security gate and subway door variations)
- Unique Terminals added (every unique terminal across vanilla and Nuka-World. Use extreme caution when scrapping these, and only scrap if you are absolutely sure)
- Unique & Generic Human Corpses added (scrap all dead-by-default human bodies, including named NPCs)
- Building Walls added (dozens of new shell building variants)
- Building Roofs added (parapets and trims)
- Signs added (all highway sign variants)
- Burnt Textbooks and similar items added (As per request. If you have a mod that adds recipes for these like USO, load that as a higher priority)
- Audio Equipment added (microphone, loudspeakers, intercoms, speakers)
- Item Edits (shown in screenshots, base game item edits to burnt comics, magazines, books, folders, etc. to allow you to gain components when scrapping. Also makes these items marginally more valuable in terms of caps too, so they have a use beyond bricking your inventory!)
- Trash added (tons more trash to scrap, including many static collections, particularly from Concord.)
- Graffiti added (painted arrows, those warnings about Swan, etc)
-
Version 1.2
- Merges (with permission) jackapoint's entire Nuka World scrap list into this mod, to create the beginnings of a definitive Nuka-World scrapping mod. Hundreds of records have been added, far too many to list. Happy scrapping!
