It might. If I go there I get screen tearing which is the tell-tale sign of broken pre-combines. If I use the console command TPC to turn off all pre-combines in the game the problem is immediately fixed. I will do more testing but I am starting a new playthrough with a clean installation and got this issue.
Update: I disabled the mod and went to the location again. Still had screen tearing while in the crater. As soon as I moved away, the problem ended. I found no other screen tearing anywhere else I go, both close and far to the crater.
It's weird. I can't figure this out. I've have a few other of your mods installed with no problems, like Minutemen Merchant Marine and Railway HQ Lived In so I know you are skilled. It must be something about my current setup somehow. I will investigate further and update you if I find anything.
Update: As of now (Oct 2, 2024) it seems fine. I did more testing but could not replicate the screentearing issues. I have removed a few mods in preparation for a new playthrough so it must have been one of them that was affecting the area. I wish I knew which one it was.
The bottom line: This mod seems perfectly fine. For anyone reading this, don't let my posts put you off since it seems it was, as I suspected, something involving my game that gave me a problem at some point.
go to any place that you desire to have a settlement then open console command and type in player.placeatme c1aeb it will give you a workbench to begin your settlement there...enjoy
