Your base and DLC "main" texture pack made me go from:
>low settings and with most features disabled (ambient occlusion, AF, AA, etc.) clocked at 45-50 fps. to >High settings with most features enabled clocked at 50-55 fps.
I tried the performance version for even better performance gains but I can't read some of the signs haha so I stuck with the main one. (Also, for some context, my PC doesn't have a graphics card, I'm planning on getting one soon for minecraft.)
First off, thank you for making this mod. My machine probably wouldn't qualify as a "potato," per se, but it is older and struggles to run FO4 with default textures. This mod really gives my computer some much-needed breathing room.
There is one problem I will mention, and it concerns the Pip-Boy map. On the Main version of this mod it's pulled back much further than default, meaning you can see a lot more stuff. Not a terrible thing, being zoomed out like that, but slightly annoying.
On the Performance version, though, it's much worse. On Performance it's pulled all the way out so it shows the entire Commonwealth within the square border lines. You have to zoom in to be able to see where you are, where landmarks are, all the icons are scrunched together, and if you zoom it in, then exit the map, then open it again, it defaults back to the entire Commonwealth view all over again.
I assume this is due to the lower resolution of the textures you're using, as a map replacer mod makes the problem go away.
I will, don't worry, just be patient. :) Fallout 4 NG could or could not have more updates which in theory could make my newest version obsolete very quickly. For the moment the last update was NG 2 Update back in May 13th. I hope that Bethesda will fix what needs to be fixed and quit updating Fallout 4 for good.
Glad to hear this is still going to be updated. I get why you're waiting, mods that shouldn't logically break are now broken because of the updates. Like an intro replacer I had installed, made the Console invisible, just how?!
Looking forward to the compatible version and thanks for all the work so far!
Hi, I installed the alternative version of the game and the DLC, but when I open the Pip-Boy map, the icons are too close together and the map doesn't adjust to the zoom. How can I fix this?
Yes. After following the Midnight guide, I started Fallout 4 and the map was normal. Upon installing this mod, I started the game and the Pip-Boy had the error I mentioned.

its used to work perfectly, now after i decided to download fo4 again, it doesnt work
i followed the steps, copy the texture and replaced them.
yet, the finished result always the purple texture, which means its missing.
i though the mods is broken, so i redownload. stilll the same.
im doing this on newly installed fo4, so my modlist only has 39 mods.
any fixes?
edit; im sorry, seems i pick the ng version
