All I ever really wanted were these sweet, sweet pocket sliding doors. These doors are in Homemaker, but Homemaker has a LOT of stuff! (Homemaker's version does have snapping. This one does not.)

So here they are.

And they will drive you up the wall. These can be frustrating to place. I'm sorry!

What Are These?:

Two sliding pocket doors (right and left) and two sets of closet doors (one small, one large) (as shown in the images). You can use the closet doors on closets, but they work on regular door frames just fine, too (see images).

Where Do I Find These?:

They are located in the standard door menu in the workshop.

Placement:

First off, there's no snapping. Don't be silly. That'd be easy!

My best advice is to take note of what side the pocket is on when you're standing in the hallway (left or right) and choose the door that collapses in that direction. You'll probably need to move it inch by inch until you've aligned it just right.

You'll know you've picked the wrong door or have placed it facing the wrong direction when it collapses the wrong way and/or the handle clips through everything. I've found they can behave erratically so I'll just throw them back in my workshop and re-place them facing the right way, etc. I wish I had better advice!

But once you get it right, you'll have a wealth of new thematic interior doors for Dogmeat to go ham on. (Who's a good boy?)

You'll need something that lets you place workshop items anywhere/everywhere. Whatever mod you use to achieve that. Don't ask me for recommendations--I'm not touching those sorts of discussions with a ten-foot pole.

Clean vs. Dirty Textures?:

Just clean textures for now. If you have the gumption to make post-war textures, knock yourself out. I might get around to dirty textures later, but I don't think the pre-war ones stick out too terribly.

I've uploaded the vanilla Meshes and Textures to the Misc. Files (lol I broke my installation so I had a chance to grab the vanilla assets upon reinstallation). The Material files are unnecessary, but I'll keep them there just in case you're curious about them.

I haven't played around with the textures at all. I believe the main texture you'll want to focus on is "DetailInteriorResidentialInt01" (with an "Int"), since it appears to be only for these doors.

"DetailMetalResidential01" and "DetailMetalResidential04" deal with more textures than just these doors. They're for the various metal and handle bits. You can probably skip them, but they're there for the sake of being complete.

Can I Fix These?:

Yes, please god. If you want to make any of these work better, or whatever, please do so. All I did was grab the assets from the Fallout 4 BA2 and make them accessible in the workshop.
