Friends, like me, it seems as though Amelia being dead prior to using this mod makes it act funky for a few folks.
I do allot of testing before committing to a mod, And I have 35 of the 36 recruitable mods working here.. I truly think Larann may be the best modder we have available. This one mod just happens to give me trouble. I am super late game and completed everything. My personal issue seems to stem from not hitting any of the needed Human Error stages (470 or 480 or 600 or 720.)
[ CF RecruitAmeliaAndOldManStockton RecruitAmelia True ] unfortunately did not work for me.
However -- it took me 4 tries but I am able to reconstruct the "add Amelia" piece 100% of the time by doing the following:
>> enable mod (Stockton shows up, already assignable, a gentleman) >> amelia nowhere to be found (she is dead, the manual quest steps listed on another post did not work for me) >> open console (type without quotes and punctuation) >> "setstage 00022a08 720"; ENTER >> "prid 0001DBDC"; ENTER >> "Disable"; ENTER >> "Enable"; ENTER >> "Moveto Player"; ENTER >> "Resurrect"; ENTER >> Exit console, enter workshop mode >> Click Amelia, SEND TO (in my case) BUNKER HILL
She is now functional, a counted settler, and assignable.
EDIT: I was having an issue with her not actually doing the tasks assigned & unable to trade with her (tending tato added the benefit but she just stood in a random spot doing nothing) -- After doing the above, if you also have this issue try: >> Console, click on her, recycleactor. this sends her back to her place of origin but she will start to walk back to the settlement on her own. It took her a few days to get back, but she is back and *fully* functioning as a settler.
Any chance you'll make Jules recruitable? The runaway Synth from a random encounter, his friends threatening to shoot him due to admitting he was a synth and fearing he's an institute informant? :)
I've run into issues with getting both this mod and your Recruit Timothy mod to work. Amelia never shows up at Bunker hill, not even after unlocking the settlement, and Old Man Stockton isn't considered a settler by the game, so I can't command him. I also don't get the quest to recruit Timothy. I installed both these mods on a game already in progress, though before even claiming Bunker Hill as a settlement, and I'm using the ESL versions of the mods.
All your “Recruit” mods are great additions… These type of options should of been in the vanilla game tbh. I was wondering if Old man Stockton is a Level 4 trader, and if he isn’t could we get a version where he is? It makes sense as he poses as a trader at Bunker Hill.

Hi, I installed the mod when I was already at the scene with the doc right before you rescue Amelia. I freed her and then went back to bunker hill a few times (over several days) and she isnt there. got her id and went to sanctuary hill typed in the command to move her to my location. but dont see her. I typed in SQS MS17. and stages 600 and 700 are not set. but it says stages 500, 700, 800 and 900 are done. what command do I type in to get Amelia to be recruited? Thanks.
she might have died. I had to type in her id then enable. followed by moveto.player. but I still need the correct command to set the stage to recruit her, thanks.
I made sure stage 720 was completed, i got stockton as a settler, but amelia was still disabled. I ended up having to enable and move her to bunker hill.
Thank you for the mod! For some reason, Stockton does not show me his barter menu through dialogue. He can be assigned and talked to, using his usual lines, but I cannot barter with him. I can only barter with him using console commands (showbartermenu). I haven't done the Covenant ques, don't know if this matters.

MS17 "Human Error": 720 or DialogueBunkerHill: 20 or RRM01 "Boston After Dark": 8900.
Use the console command [ SQS QuestID ] to show the completed quest stages, like [ SQS MS17 ].
Or, you can recruit them manually with:
[ CF RecruitAmeliaAndOldManStockton RecruitAmelia True ]
[ CF RecruitAmeliaAndOldManStockton RecruitOldManStockton True ].
After completing "The Big Dig", you can meet Mel and a MKII variant of Sonya the Eyebot wandering the Commonwealth.
I always feel bad not being able to help Mel after what transpires in that quest.
I ended up having to enable and move her to bunker hill.
I haven't done the Covenant ques, don't know if this matters.
