- added new elements: metal foundation quarter, metal ceiling quarter - changed names for all floor elements to make clear they are not shack but metal - switched to default metal floor section, which was present in vanilla but never used...the old custom section will be removed by the script - maybe more small fixes I forgot about
For someone not well versed in mod editing beyond installing via vortex and changing the occasional attribute in notepad, could you please explain how to correct those keywords?
Edit: I figured it out: 1. Get F04 edit. 2. Select MMO_MoreMetalObjects 3. go into constructible object 4. Copy paste "WorkshopRecipeFilterBuilding02Metal03Floor "Floors" [KYWD:00119BA1]" into the keywords section of Aof_co_Floormetal1, Aof_co_Floormetal2, Aof_co_Foundationmetal1, and Aof_co_Stairwellmetal1.
This only works for the floors, not sure how to do the roofs though
Thank you for creating this mod. The roofs look great and I really would love those floors. But the quarter floor was the only one in the menu when I opened it up. The roofs work fine. Thank you.
Did anyone ever find a solution to the floors not appearing in structures/metal? SMM rescue doesn't make it appear and I'm at a loss as to what else to try.
Ohh gud btw, can you add some diamond city metal shack theme building prefabs and parts, like concrete floor and green metal walls, roofs, doors? even better, more color variations like blue metal? with those things can make your settlements lookin better, i mean why living in a junky metal shack when you can build up a shack like those set in the 'Great Green Jewel of the Commonwealth'?
You are mistaken to believe I'm about to create a second homemaker, cvc, or wrp. I'm primarily trying to fill gaps, and add stuff with actual functions. The lore paints quite a clear picture to why everything's build of recycled parts.
So I do agree there could be more variation, but I'm certainly not going to clutter up my workshop with 25000 different color pallets, of one and the same wall type. I recommend using CvC and the Wasteland Reconstruction Kit for that. Even though their focus isn't really on what you are searching for, as well.
Homemaker adds all the colored blink blink if I remember correctly. Or maybe try Fens Sheriff workshop pack.
I see, actually I dont need those "colored blink blink" stuffs from those mods, but the WRK seems to be a good expands for the workshop I remember that there is a mod includin a prefab of the dc green metal shack, but just forgot the name of that mod, or I may just wait until someone made the lightweight mod that only includin the green metal shack building parts I was talk about, not ten to thousands of building sets that I wont using in one large pack like homemaker
Thinking of making a METAL concert stage with these build pieces... wonder if it's possible... I'm gonna try building it in Vault 88 first to see if I can actually do it.
Maybe I'll set up a HUGE METAL Concert stage one of these days using the HUGE Vault 88's layout.
Many thanks for making a simple addition to the vanilla workshop elements that fills the "vanilla feeling" workshop gap. And also for not cluttering up the workshop menu.
Follow the link to my previous release. There's a link in the comments.
Considering clean unbroken. Not without creating or editing model files. Nifskope doesn't suffice for that, and while I do have Blender ready and setup, I do absolutely have no time to dedicate learning just another craft.

*Edit: four of the objects have wrong keyword in the plugin so not showing up in menu, easily fixed by correcting the metal floor recipe keywords.

Thanks in advance for your roof elements stopping the rain.
Metal Foundation - Quarter is the only metal floor. And, yes, I did run SMM.

btw, would it be possible for you to make a roof without holes? (rainproof). Immersion reasons.
Or maybe you're talking about the frames.

Fine work
Thank you.

Useful and efficient stuff, great job!
Also where the workshop animation markers from? I have a bunch of them but can't remember seeing that one
