    Update 1.2
    Man this quest is messed up real bad, thanks bethesda.
    -Fixed Nick going back to the pod after skipping

    Unfortunately the only way to fix Nicks brain is to force him into your companion slot. you can dismiss him right away, but this is how it has to be.

    Technical info for nerds:
    Instead of giving Nick packages through his quest alias, bethesda decided it was a good idea to put it directly on his actorbase which leaves 2 options. Jank code or changing nick directly, ruining any mods that involve him. I went with jank code of course for compatibility. This quest is split between mq202 203 and 204 with an extra quest just for handling Nick. 4 quests for this great quest.

    Update 1.1
    -Fixed not being able to move after skipping memories.

    Let me know if this update worked. To test, you'll need a save that hasn't started "dangerous minds"

    glad you guys are as annoyed with this "quest" as I am haha!

    Something weird happened during this quest for me, now I can't talk to companions. Probably not related to this mod though but it was during the dangerous mind quest. Anyone had something similar happen?

    EDIT: Never mind, it was from earlier than that, that was just the point where I noticed it. Think i solved it.

    This mod is great btw.

    I found a way to skip the Kellogg memory by adding quest trigger boxes, have a look here.

    Thank you for this. Some mods do foul things to the memory pod sequences so every skip helps.

    Having Nick forced as my companion is a small price to pay over sitting through that entire sequence, again. I tested this with SKK Fast Start Reunions and it all works as intended.

    Is this compatible with a mod like Depravity which might change how the memory den mission works if Kellogg is alive?

    Now i only need one to skip DIMA memory quest, there's one that does it auto, another that shows a message asking if you want to skip each section (5 messages asking), but none that shows a single message asking and then skips everything in one go.

      If you play with console commands enabled, you can do this

      setstage dlc03mq04 150
      setstage dlc03mq04 250
      setstage dlc03mq04 350
      setstage dlc03mq04 450
      setstage dlc03mq04 550

      After powering up the computer you can use these commands at once to get all the holotapee, you don't need to use the computer. You can also listen to all holotapes at once, interrupting one another without problems to complete the quest stages faster.

      I know i can do it with console, i'm saying it would be nice to have a version like this, toggleable and different from the one in Nexus that's five messages instead of one.

      It's most definitely a workaround, but Heather Casdin can do all five at once if you have her with you. I was really dreading it, and she just walked up to the terminal and did it. Had a silly little line and everything, if I remember correctly. It would be nice to have one that just prompts you to skip, though. That way you don't have to sacrifice Lone Wanderer or whatever other companion you like using just for convenience :)

      Create e.g. dima.txt, write these 5 commands into it (in Fallout 4 folder)

      setstage dlc03mq04 150;
      setstage dlc03mq04 250;
      setstage dlc03mq04 350;
      setstage dlc03mq04 450;
      setstage dlc03mq04 550;

      Use at the right time Console: bat dima

      Have fun!

      Nope. Put that file to Fallout 4's root directory (where game .exe is). Then you'll be able to execute 'bat dima' in console to skip the memories section.

      Hope this helps!

      Just for the record, if you use the Heather Casdin companion mod, you can skip Dima's memories, by having heather access the console.

      either use Cheat terminal or install heather follower let her unlock the terminal then you'll receive the tapes but you have to play them one by one

      Cheat Terminal fixes so much stuff.  From "Well, that's busted and stupid, thanks Bethesda" to one click below - or past - godmode.

      Wish the option to skip this section was part of it's vast list of features.

    This was working for me, but on my latest test playthrough, it stopped. Everything is normal until I exit the pod. Amari has no quest dialogue and Nick may remain downstairs or try to make his way upstairs and if you're in his greeting radius, he immediately triggers Kellog's "should've offed you while you were on ice" dialogue in Nick. The quest doesn't progress and even with console commands to end the quest, The Glowing Sea quest does not start, even if I enter console commands.

    Despite a minor oddity, v1.2 worked for me, no TCL or anything required. Firstly, in the memory pod, my 1st-person view started leaving the pod for half a sec then popped back in. Then after skipping the memories ok, the pod opened and I saw Valentine literally run out of the room as Amari talked to me. I was then told to find Valentine waiting upstairs. Except initially he wasn't there. I quickly explored all the rooms and, deciding he'd vanished, returned to the main lounge where Irma is. Two seconds later he suddenly appears - pops in out of thin air - and sits down on a sofa. And the very good news is when I spoke to him I still got that spooky bit where Valentine speaks with Kellogg's voice. So, yay it works! And despite the oddity mentioned it's far better than enduring Bethesda's annoying memory sequence again. Cheers. Endorsed.
