WOW what? I always kinda hate doing the quest here but at the end I give one of the fancy hats to nick to replace his worn out default hat.
What if this mod was initially disabled and then after the quest you get a notice to come back and help the nutty robots with their settlement idea? So you go back there and this mod content is enabled as if they did all the work themselves while you were gone. Just have to fill in the remaining things and help attract settlers for them aka do the settlement thing. This won't interfere with cable car to acadia right?
Changes made by this mod are very extensive and include modifications to the terrain. Doing an "enable when quest X completed" is therefore not trivial, and certainly not something I plan to do ;)
However, you can enable the mod manually later in a playthrough. It's even recommended because this mod breaks Pearl's quest.
Good news also: The cable car won't interfere. Put the cable car below this mod tho, as the cable car mod is designed to add on top of existing mods.
What if I have a mod for the nearby vanilla settlement? Do the terrain changes affect any cells for that settlement? I expect I will have to make a compatibility patch for previs and precombines but don't know how to handle terrain changes.
One of the 4 elevators to the left leads down to the vault. I wanted to add a stairwell and there's even a door for it, but never got around to finish the mod.
I am enjoying the 'happiness' of the settlers here, so far i haven't spawned any FH class NPC's yet here.. but less than 3 minutes after i spawned the 1st Farmer and assigned him this Cliff's Edge rocketed up to 100% happiness and hasn't looked back :)
Seeing as there is only ONE Npc that rents 'rooms' in the game (Bunker Hill i think) .. I was going to dev that 'check in counter' area into a Full bore Modern Medical Fascility .. :) "Island Medical" .. why not?
Now I can ask for the info i need: has anybody seen "ANY" texture swaps or paints for Vetibirds for ie., Medivac or Air Ambulance Themes??
It isn't often that modders touch Cliff's Edge, I'm always a bit giddy when I see a new rebuild. Cliff's Edge has been one of my favorite locations in a Bethesda game. I look forward to my next playthrough, I'll be trying this then.
Curious. Would you possibly add a version with transparent windows? I always enjoy being able to see the soft glow of interior lighting.
My God, the mod is unfinished and it's fabulous like this, imagine if it was finished? I actually prefer it this way, it leaves room for my personal touch, the hardest and most boring part has already been done, which was cleaning and restoring, now you just have to have fun finishing it! If that wasn't enough, it also gave me the opportunity to discover that there is another wonderful elevator mod that I've been looking for for months, the ones I found weren't good or didn't meet my requirements, unfortunately this NISTRON mod didn't show up in the search even though I typed in the keyword *Elevator*, what a mistake huh Vortex? It's not the first time this has happened, the search system on this site is very bad... What a wonderful mod, it made Far Harbor, which I despised, very interesting!
