Hi there! Every time I try to input the plan I crash after a few minutes of waiting. I tried looking at a wall to help with loading but it doesn't seem to work and still crashes
Hi ! i'm struggling a bit to make the mod works. as of now it does add some plots, the garden, some lamps etc there's a lot of furniture hanging in the air , but also it doesnt clean or repair anything. 'im using the Storywealth modlist , i saw there was a mod that you mention that i think i have that may cause conflict and that there was a patch for it but i dont seem to find it ?
I would really like to use this City Plan, but I can't get it to work. I followed all installation instructions, have both mods at the bottom of my load order, checked with F04Edit that Pra's settlement wins the cell, tried to reinstall both the settlement and the City Plan multiple times and rollbacking to a previous save, but the City Plan never appears in the selection. The settlement works without problems and I can scrap and build everything without problems. It's just that I can't choose the City Plan. Any ideas what else I could try?
This is an outpost plan. Have you started Ch 3 yet? I believe you can only select it if the settlement is converted into an outpost at the warplanner’s desk.
Converting the settlement via the warplanner’s desk fixed my problem. I think it would be a great addition to mention that in the mod description. Thank you for your help and thank you for this awesome outpost!
I’ve had users run into this issue enough times that I’m inclined to agree. I’ll update the mod descriptions of my outposts to make sure it is clear that the settlement needs to be converted to a outpost first before the user can apply an outpost plan to it.
I love the idea of turning some of the abandoned buildings into functional industrial centers. Really fits wells with a Sim Settlements playthrough with the goal of rebuilding the commonwealth. Leaving all this free real estate empty is something that never made sense to me about fallout. I'd love to be able to get the Corvega assembly plant or the Saugus Ironworks up and running again after clearing out the raiders and setting up factories to supply settlements with building materials. My dream is to be able to repurpose and restore all of these cool pre-war building locations into their original purpose. I like to imagine the commonwealth after 10 or 20 years after rebuilding the Commonwealth Provisional Government, making it into an actual relatively safe place to live like the NCR. Instead of walled settlements with a few vendors, the entire map would be like one big settlement. Go into the Super-Duper-Mart for food, buy comics in Hubris Comics, walk the streets of Boston that are heavily patrolled with Minutemen outposts on every corner instead of raider outposts. I can't imagine how much work it would take to achieve this, but mods like this are one step closer to seeing that dream become a reality, so thank you for all your work and keep it up.
Thank you! All I did was make a plan for Pra’s settlement, but it sounds like you’d also enjoy some of the custom settlement work by folks like Glitchfinder and Tenhats! Check them out, they do great stuff!
i dont suppose you can help me, this isnt showing up in my city planners desk. infact nor plans are whatsoever from anyone whose made a city plan for the library im rearranging my load order but cant seem to get it to show.
Hm…that’s weird. I’ll reach out to Pra and see if he has any ideas.
EDIT: Make sure that you've downloaded Pra's Boston Public Library Settlement as opposed to a different Boston Library settlement. Make sure to follow the instructions on how to download the settlement. All custom settlement mods should be at the bottom of your load order. If you are using Vortex's autosorting, make sure you sort custom settlements in a custom category at the bottom of your load order OR add it to a category such as "Late Game Changes." The city plan should auto-sort after Pra's Boston Public Library since it is a master for this plan, but double-check to make sure that it loads afterwards.
There are many reasons why city plans could fail to show up at a city planner's desk within a custom settlement. Try re-installing my city plan and see if that works. You can also try reinstalling the custom settlement and rolling back your save in case some workshop scripts failed to run when you installed the first time.
ill try that, im using Mod organizer 2 currently but also use vortex ill try porting everything over to vortex to see if that helps at all.
i have pra/s settlement mod downloaded and i thought i followed the steps correctly but ill double check everything. i can build a city planners desk just cant select anyones plan for the library.
