18/07/2024: I tested the mod once again and it stops working if you uninstall/disable it. Please don't post comments about this mod persisting because that's not the case, and if it were I'd provide a way to reset it. Problem Exists Between Chair and Keyboard
is there a way to give a specific weapon an exception so it reloads as in vanilla? Im asking because of a bow im trying to do which works weird with manual reload
Yeah but I'd have to rewrite the mod and reimplement Bethesda's reload code due to the way this mod currently works. I'd be willing to make a custom version for you, but I'd need to take a look at the game's code again and see if it's not too much of a pain in the ass to do
Hello! I've been using this mod in conjunction with Bullet in the Chamber for a while now; I absolutely love the work you've put into these mods! The one thing I noticed is that these mods is missing a feature (and after some digging I also found that all of nexus doesn't seem to have) of remembering the ammo count of my weapons when I switch between them. I don't know how much workload it would be, but would it be possible for you to implement this kind of function? Even as a standalone mod? Again, thank you for the work you've done so far!
Yeah that's what I mean. If it's an engine level thing then I could see it being a major pain. I'm just curious how likely it would be to see as a future mod or something, but I can live without it. Keep up the awesome work!!!
Use the Favorites/Hotkeys to switch weapons, not the Inventory screen. Using the Favorites it returns the weapon with it's last known count. Using the Inventory screen it returns the weapon with a magically reloaded full ammo count. ---- Doing this you can "pre-charge" any weapon with the Defiant legendary attachment. Get it down to 1, put it away, pull it out when you really, really need that 2x damage shot. Just don't miss....
Not really because that mod also listens for reloads but never calls them. We removed the reload hotkey specifically for one of the reasons why I made this mod :P
Yes, anything at all to make gunplay not so boring haha. Really wish we had some true blue two handed weapon stuff. It was the infancy of VR, I know, but it was still a lazy port for even back then.
In my environment, the tactical reload had a problem where I couldn't manually reload when the magazine was empty, but by installing this MOD, I was able to manually reload even when the magazine was empty. Savior MOD
Were you reloading via hotkeys? That was an issue we ran into about 2 years ago while working on a different mod. Couldn't reload with hotkeys when mag was empty if TR was installed
No, I don't use hotkeys to reload, I always use the reload key (R key) that's set in the game. I think in my case it's probably due to a conflict with some mod.

I was also hoping to edit this through TESedit, but nope.
Most of the big plugins I made have NG versions but I update those out of boredom or when someone asks if it's not too much trouble to do.
Should be "between keyboard and chair" but I'm a bit stupid
UPDATE: Whoops. I had to enter the MCM menu of tactical reload and configure it back to normal
