For those who are confused about the mod load order
Here's the guide when using either Dead Forest Light or Dead Forest Overhaul or perhaps combined. Be warned when you're using Dead Forest Overhaul version or Combined version because the performance will take its toll and not even PRP will come to save your framerate. Use Dead Forest Light if you want realistic visibility and stable framerate for relative higher end PCs. Everything about this mod is a complete full level 3 LOD, meaning no more pop-ups at long range LOD for all worldspace.
Dead Forest Light (load order guide): - Dead Forest Light.esp BNS Trees.esp BNS Landscape.esp SSTFungalForest.esp Pine Trees Redone.esp Boston Natural Surroundings Extended - Part 1.esp Boston Natural Surroundings Extended - Part 2.esp Boston Natural Surroundings Extended - Part 3.esp
Dead Forest Overhaul (load order guide): - Dead Forest Overhaul.esp BNS Trees.esp BNS Landscape.esp SSTFungalForest.esp Pine Trees Redone.esp Boston Natural Surroundings Extended - Part 1.esp Boston Natural Surroundings Extended - Part 2.esp Boston Natural Surroundings Extended - Part 3.esp
DFL and DFO combined (load order guide): - Dead Forest Light.esp Dead Forest Overhaul.esp BNS Trees.esp BNS Landscape.esp SSTFungalForest.esp Pine Trees Redone.esp Boston Natural Surroundings Extended - Part 1.esp Boston Natural Surroundings Extended - Part 2.esp Boston Natural Surroundings Extended - Part 3.esp
The trunk of additional trees (probably from Dead Forest Light) emit a weak yellow glow in the dark and i have no idea how to deal with it, can you help me please? This is how my game looks like at night
HI there, I am so excited to bring some S.T.A.L.K.E.R/Escape from Tarkov/Beautiful Light environment to Fallout 4.. BUT, I'll have to sort my load order with DFO, BNS Trees, The Fungal Forest, Pine Trees Redone and the green version of BNS extended. my load order is: - PFF.esm - Dead Forest Overhaul - BNS Trees - BNS Landscape (Which has grass, rock and landscape retextures) - Fungal Forest - Pine Trees Redone - BNS Extended Green Version - PRP.esp
Yes. Your load order is correct. That is my load order during the release of this mod. If you know how to generate LOD then you can slash Fungal Forest and Pine Trees Redone. This mod exist for casual users and take it into consideration.
Impressive work! So, literally, on the field (not judging by LOD), the additional trees to BNS ones come from Pines Trees Redone or Dead Forest Light? The splash of green from the green tall Pines would fit perfectly with the autumnal tones from BNS, in my opinion way better than the Dead ones.
All of the additional trees are from Dead Forest Light. But it depends on your taste, you can generate LOD since Splash of Pine Trees have good LOD. You can use part 1 and part 2 for resource and LOD guide. Only the problem is clipping trees since that mod uses BNS framework.
The LOD 1:1 will be correct but repetitve at very long range LOD because it has same file location via statics records. The BNS v3.0 doesn't have level 2 LOD elm trees so it'll become halved at moderate range like greyish-kind of tree LOD (similar to Nuclear Reloaded or Autumn Overhaul). But those level 1 LODs like Green, Yellow, Red elm tree meshes will not affect because they exist and is correct. - The performance tanks a bit because I'm using 2016 mid range budget pc specs. But high end users will not suffer from this. Either using PRP or not, still doable FPS. No more double trees from the latest version; that's a huge plus for me. - Since I don't know everything about LOD meshes and textures. You can create your own level 2 LOD or correct it.
