The next update has been postponed indefinitely. I'm going to take a break from modding. Feel free to expand Animatronic Apocalypse and use its assets, just remember to credit the people I put into the description (and maybe me).
Edit 13.04.2025: updated the Animatronic Apocalypse VR to the current 1.081 version. Now that you've found all the prize boxes, I created a map with the approximate locations.
For more detailed information, see the “Articles” section.
• added 2 new price boxes • added 2 new decorations • added 2 new enemies • added 2 new headgear • added a big fazbear-location
There's a new Fazbear Outpost ready to be looted and two classic FnaF workshop items waiting to be found. But beware the Cook and his cursed dog!
BUGFIXES:
• fixed issue with invisible Freddy power armor head • fixed Chicas clean armor bumpmap • fixes shading bug with Foxy's armor • fixed 2 soundbugs for Monty • added missing files for withered chica
EDIT V1.081:
• fixed some typos, • removed floating chica head • fixed issues with roxy's idle voice lines • added missing collision box for foxy's arm • toys in spring bonnie hideout are no longer activatable
Can anyone tell me why this would give me missing menus. I have 4 missing menus in my Decorations when this mod is installed and they come back when uninstalled. I have read in the bug section that someone else (Johnny Gunn) had this problem to but it has not been addressed.
I've noted that Synth Swap works well with this mod, preventing the clipping seen in vanilla bodies without the CBBE requirement, and allowing the character to look more like the animatronics while wearing heavy variants of the added armors. However, the gloves and headwear slots must be left empty to allow the gauntlets and animated head to be used.
Use the chest, left and right arm, and left and right leg from Synth Swap, but not the left/right hand or head pieces. Set piece appearances to Gen01. Then equip the heavy animatronic armor pieces and head.
This is WAY too well made for how silly and ridiculous of a concept this whole thing is. And TBH I'm all for it. Bravo, bravo, and bravo again. Hats off to you
this mod looks amazing but I just know it will conflict with my collection and after reading the comments it has a heavy conflict with sim settlements. I would endorse this just from what I see though. looks great!
Hey, I don't know if this has been said before, but there appears to be an incompatibility with Sim Settlements 2. The Nightingales quest 'Calling ER' seems to edit the same cells around the Mass Bay Medical Center (Boston Harbor) and causes a near-instant CTD when approaching that area. This makes progressing in their questline which is necessary to advance to SS2 Chapter 3 (recruiting Cassandra for the HQ) impossible.
Not a complaint by any means, as this is one of my favorite mods, but I thought it was worth mentioning in case anyone experiences the same issue. Might be my mod order, but the issue couldn't be reproduced when I turned this mod off.
someone helping me test this mod had an issue here (floating/missing objects not a crash) It's on the third floor. When i went to the location before beginning any SS2 content there is nothing at the spot and no FNAF stuff at all
Thanks for the heads-up! I'm on an SS2 run right now, but I want to try a Raider run after. I think this would fit in with that playthrough better anyways. :)
Easily one of my favorite FO4 mods! I'm not someone who really cares about mods being lore friendly, especially since the Fallout universe is pretty insane on its own, but I'm really impressed how seamlessly the fnaf stuff is added. It feels like something that just belongs there, especially when you've got factions like the rust devils or gunners running around with robots of their own. Tons of loot, but none that feels like it shouldn't be there. My only complaint is it causes some major lag in some places, but since it's mostly in cult "bases" for lack of a better word, I think it's just the game struggling with the 10+ enemies clumped together as it's rendering the world around 'em. Not a deal breaker for me :]
Some of my favorite finds so far:
Spoiler:
Show
hearing broken/scrap chica's horrific glitchy voice long before finding her in that one tunnel
Spoiler:
Show
finding an enemy simply called "chica?" in the dig tunnel with just a glimpse of the withered head in the dark
Spoiler:
Show
wandering around either hester's or wattz, looking up and seeing a baby plush staring down at me with her creepy little eyes
Spoiler:
Show
sun's makeshift ball pit at prospect hill, naturally had to take him and his ballpit with me to rebuild it for him
Spoiler:
Show
the little music men?? i'm obsessed with them. i'm gonna build them at every settlement because they're just too cute
Spoiler:
Show
the broken roxy in joe's spuckies making ghoul noises paired with clickerfied ghouls created a whole new flavor of horror
Spoiler:
Show
shenley's oyster bar's owner clearly having beef with the franchise, judging by the poster with a giant x on it and the cupcake plush in the trash. definitely one of the moments that made me sit back and appreciate the immersion and how smoothly this mod's contents integrates into the game

Ain't got anything to help with the head though so unfortunately you're gonna see your mouth from underneath the head pieces
