Changelogs
Version 1.3b
Added another variation with fully closed top plates and glowing visor. Bottom plates can be manually toggled.
Moved the glowing visor illumination to separate enchantment and added it to object mods.
Version 1.3a
Added another variation with fully closed top plates and glowing visor. Bottom plates have normal behavior.
Version 1.2b
For now this is a separate version. A lot of things in the plugin are reworked/added to make the plates of the Assaultron Helm to manually open/close. To toggle the plates, build the Aid item on the Chem Bench and assign it to a hotkey.
Version 1.2a
Tried to fix weird shadows on a couple of meshes. There are no edits to the plugin, no major changes.
Version 1.2
Added headlamp function for the Full Glass Visor. This helmet variation now requires more materials and Science 1.
I have reduced the color saturation of the lights. I thought too much color can get annoying.
Version 1.1
The 1st person light attachment Art Object for the Sentry Helmet is added with Enchantment through the Object Mod instead of the Armor Addon. Otherwise material swaps made the light disappear in 1st person.
Added another variation of the Assaultron Helmet: Non-animated plates with glass visor.
Various additions to automatron helmets in the form of transparent visors and headlamps. This combines my previous edits to automatron helmets into one mod, with some small tweaks and additions. However, it's not an exact merge and it shouldn't be used together with said mods.
Sentry Helmet - added transparent visor and flashlight option.
Eyebot Helmet - added headlamp. Changed the helmet cowl to the one from assaultron helmet, which covers a bit more of the characters forehead. Added option to switch between eyebot paints.
Assaultron Helmet - added helmet variations: with glass/glowing visor, fully closed animated/non-animated plates, full glass visor, glass plates with glowing edges and so on. The fully closed non-animated plates variation has upgrade option: you can turn the visor either into headlamp or a night vision tool. For the last one, craft the night vision switch aid item on the chembench and bind it to a key. Another variation has a headlamp/night vision upgrade, added just before release: with fully closed plates, top plates and visor are non-animated, bottom plates have the standard animated behavior. The non-animated plates are compatible with paint swaps.
The "Why?" - I wasn't expecting that I would do edits to these three helmets, so this seemed like the next logical step. This will make it easier to do patches to solve compatibility issues.
For Mod Authors - Addon Nodes used for the lights are 1082 and 1083.
