Do you want to use the Red Rocket workshop in Nuka World from the start, without doing lots of quests first? Then this mod probably is for you.
When you arrive in Nuka World, you can do whatever you want - except for using the Red Rocket workshop...
In order to use it, you have to do lots of quests first or the game will only show you an error message when you try to use the workshop.
Not anymore. Now you basically have three options:
1. Activate the workshop at any time, without completing "Open Season" or "Power Play"
Red Rocket will be a standard settlement with regular settlers, working beacon and supply links
2. Activate the workshop after completing "Open Season"
Red Rocket will be a standard settlement with regular settlers, working beacon and supply links
3. Activate the workshop after completing "Power Play"
Red Rocket will be a raider settlement of whatever raider group you decide.
The optional download contains an ESL flagged ESP in addition to the script and works different than the main file. Where the main file automatically assigns ownership based on quest progression, the optional file presents you with a menu. There you can select the new owner of the workshop.
1. Choosing the player as new owner is available from the start.
2. To choose a raider group as the owner, you first have to complete the quest "An Ambitious Plan". Yeah, you need to get to know these groups before you can assign them.
3. If you completed "Open Season" before activating the workshop, once you activate it, it will automatically be assigned to the player as usual.
This download is experimental. I only tested that the menus are working and correctly assign the workshop. I did not test for side effects of assigning a raider group to the workshop before doing "Power Play" or eliminating this group during "Power Play" or assigning a raider group and afterwards completing "Open Season". So please think before you use these options.
Just drop the content of the archive in your Fallout 4 Data folder. If you use the optional download, you have to activate the ESP as well.
Simply remove "Scripts\DLC04\DLC04RedRocketWorkshopScript.pex" from your Fallout 4 Data folder. If you use the optional download, you have to deactivate the ESP as well.
