I laboriously weighed all the options and went for the hair that looked the best. It's one of Azar's, but not a ponytail. The bun style won and I think it works with fighter personas. I figured if Ronda Rousey could wear a bun in the ring, Cait could, too. And I think it looks fabulous on her.

You'll have to learn how to use Face Ripper. I recommend you download it manually here at Nexus.
Download the default Cait face in my optional files and deactivate Loving Cait if it's still active.
Make a special game save wherever you're at, quit. Rip the default Cait face you just downloaded (source) to your new save (target) with Face Ripper, making sure to choose "Cait" in the "target face" drop down menu.
Start the game and take a look. If she looks like old Cait, fast travel to another area, make another save, and reload it to make sure the default face rip is still there. If not, start over and try again. If it is, you're ready to quit out, and move on to the next series of steps.
Use face ripper to rip LovingCait.esp (source) to the "Old Cait" save (target) you just made, making sure to select "Cait" in the drop down menu for the target face.
Start the game and you should see an odd, stretchy blend of Old Cait and Loving Cait. If you do, fast travel to another area and save/quit.
You are now ready to install the Loving Cait mod as you would any other mod. The Plug in file loaded over the odd face rip save should give you what you see in the photos the next time you start.

And guys, for the love of gawd, spread the word to STOP altering companions with the console. You're just opening a big can of PITA. For the rest of your current run through, you'll have to do all these steps to swap to an update, or another Cait mod.
If anyone has an easier way than described above, please, please, please let us know.
My Cait looks like this. I was able to get Loving Piper working but having no luck with Cait. Any ideas?
-I already tried the ponytail mod with loose files instead of ba2 and nothing changed. -FO4 edit showed no conflicts apart from Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch. (which I solved already, the issue remains even with the untouched file).
Im glad that I still have the old files. I downloaded back in 2021. I much prefer the origonals over the new updated. I wont say why. Still Endorsed though. Keep up the good work.
All the files posted are from 2016. All the MAs posts here are from 2016. What could have possibly changed from 2021 to 2024? There is nothing in this mod dated in or beyond 2021.
I just installed the Piper mod...and haven't met her yet in the story. But she looks great from the images posted...then I saw the other companion mods...(damit...) It would be great if all three mods could work together, kind of like the main character becomes the boyfriend of all three (where he becomes the focal point to all the three+ girls, where they are really OK with sharing their hearts...just like the main character has a harem)...
Hey, who wouldn't want to have a loving relationship with not just one, but 3 bad ass hot girls? Though, knowing how this game doesn't work well with other addons sharing the same game resources, would become a nightmare. But it would be a great choice to have in this huge story of out of the norm possibilities.
I'm trying to fix this for about an hour now her face will not load it's just for default vanilla character model, edit I'm also having the same problem with loving Piper so both of your mods are glitching that I don't know how to fix them I spent the better part of six hours trying to figure it out.
I'm also having the same problem on a new playthrough. Not sure what the issue is. This project may not get any more support though sadly. I cannot play with her without this mod.
Make sure the replacer esp is at the bottom of your load order. You guys have something conflicting with the character's visual. Look in xedit and see if there are conflicts.
Maybe try the Rusty Face Fix mod to see if it fixes her face. Once you install that mod, open console command and click on her, then type in rff. If it doesnt work, the issue is in the texture file itself and im not sure how to fix if thats the case

THBrows is no longer required for Cait, but still being extensively used throughout the presets.
Consider this a preview snapshot of the presets. Cait is still subject to minor nudges and tweaks as we roll toward release.

I disable this mod and the Ponytail mod and it's fine with no issues.
Edit: Think that was my bad, haven't had any crashes since I moved to a new area.
