fun fact, gyrojets were never made because they were extremely inaccurate and failed extremely frequently on top of blasting the user's face with hot gasses. There's a reason they were never put in the Fallout games.
I'm not gonna win this argument but as a gun autismonaut I will say that accuracy is more important to me and a lot of people than """fun""". Accuracy is our fun. Peace.
Yes, I got him, but I couldn't get any ammunition related to him. I tried all the bullets I could see in the game, but none of them seemed to fit. So, I wonder what kind of ammunition it uses. Yes, I didn't get any explanation in the game.
This is awesome. The one thing I'd like to see to improve this is a patch to use with the Visible Weapons mod. This is a gun design that needs to be seen rendered on our characters for extra cool points.
However, there is one thing that is disappointing. The trigger ring looks too tight. It's not a big deal, but it's a little bit painful when you think about when you put this gun on while wearing a power armor.
I've stopped using mods that add rocket propelled bullets because I can't see the fancy rocket propelling action. Vanilla game uses hitscan for guns and while there are mods that change the hitscan to show the projectile travelling, you still can't see it because bullets travel really fast and so the rocket part of that travel is supposed to happen I think at a later stage of the bullet travelling to extend the range of the bullet? maybe you see it from a long range scope in a game like sniper ghost warrior series of games but fallout 4? nah so unless the bullet is a rocket only and not propelled by gunpowder then I don't see the point to it. Looks like a nice gun though heh:-)
@dragonslayer2k12 The whole point of the Gyrojet is to throw a massive .51 caliber bullet down range with the recoil of a .22. Just enough gunpowder to get the bullet out of the barrel - then the bullet propels itself after that. ---- Because this uses the Aim Model of the 44 revolver - it's essentially playing like a .44 revolver. Make a copy of that Aim Model, adjust it to reduce the recoil considerably - then it will feel like a Gyrojet. a .51 caliber plinker.
Hey Selakii, just so it doesn't drive you crazy wondering what this message is about, it is referring to something Mr. Torgue says in Borderlands 2. He owns a gun manufacturing company and most of his weapons fire explosive rounds because he wants everything to explode. Torgue would approve of this weapon.
