Works great and it's nice to see some non pipe weapons in .38.

Absolutely perfect for my WW1-themed Minuteman playthrough and a welcome diversion from a sea of Glocks

    I like this concept
I'll have to install it when I get home
It'll fit nicely with Dak's .38 machine pistol and the .32 SMG

    Hi!
This is a neat weapon, I wanted more guns to round out the 38 ammo type so it wasn't just pipe gun food and this looks good and fits the world well.
My only question: does this use the same sounds as the Deliverer/covert pistol? Only I made a couple of replacement sounds for that gun and I noticed this pistol uses those as well.

It uses the Deliverer's firing sound and 10mm pistol sounds for reloads.

Ah, that'd explain it. Thanks for the quick reply!
My sound replacement was just a loose file, so I'll have to see about making it like an esp or something - would that resolve the conflict, as it were?

No, even when your files are archived they’ll still overwrite each other. You’d have to make a copy of the deliverer firing sound in a unique location, make a new sound descriptor for it, make an s_40 keyword for it, make a sound keyword association with the new descriptor as primary, and then switch the s_40_deliverer keyword in the WEAP entry to that keyword. It’s not really that difficult to do, and you can just copy what the vanilla entries are doing, but it’s kind of tedious.

That does sound tedious, but thank you for the suggestion/guide! I am lazy though, so I'll just disable my sound replacer instead. Small price to pay to have this pistol in the rotation since it's pretty neat.

This is a well made gun, I just wish it had more attachments available.

Does this mod inject the gun into the level lists via scripts or does it replace/edit level lists? I currently use a lot of weapon/gear mods (like Dak and Pig's) that use level list injections, which I prefer.

      It is script injected.

Vortex is reporting a conflict with Selakii's Small Game Shotgun . It appears both of your mods use DankGunLLInject2.pex

They are exactly the same script, so it won't matter. Just overwrite with one or the other.

this is an excellent example of an early Colt, it looks like a 1905 model but id need to look back at the history of the 1911 to make sure

Thanks for checking it out. This was mostly based on the Colt 1902 specifically, but I did reference the 1900, 1903 Pocket Hammer, 1905, and 1907 as well for various elements. The short frame options are close to the 05 and 07 variants, and one of the grip options I based on the 05 military pattern.

Is this a Replacer or Added? I never use Replacer weapons because they become hard coded into your save and are a mess to strip out.. Might want to state that in the discription to be less confusing.
    Thank you in advance.

      It’s a standalone weapon, not a replacer.

Hey! Great mod. May I suggest not covering your beautiful pistol with writing in your front picture? Maybe use the second photo instead?

I loved your Grand Modele mod as well.

Check out these cube maps as well. They're added on the Environment maps in the materials editor. They'll help give metal that extra metallic look.

Thanks for the cubemap resource and kind words.

I did intend to do something fancier for the thumbnail card, with the text arcing above and below the weapon, but I couldn’t get it to look how I wanted and I didn’t want to delay it again. I might rework the thumbnail later, after I learn how to do what I planned originally, but I do want to start making these things into a more coherent series, so for the time being I’m going to leave it as is.
