That's the rest tonemap clipping highlights. Since i dont play the game anymore,i added rest tonemap in files 'optional' download replace it and in reshade you have an option called 'REST_Tonemap_Config' and at highlights increase it by very small increments till the clipping goes away also do you have apply tone map clamp on in rest setting in buffer? That seems like its fallout london they might have used different default tonemap causing the clipping or its vanilla?
Yeah this is Fallout London, and tone map clamp is applied yes it came like that with your file. I think i got it, I put highlights to the max in the config and I think it's very close now, thank you. Is there a way to increase it slightly beyond 2.430?
While you edit the values you can also open rest at same time to click the marked yellow buffer see changes since it only affect rest buffer not main game view and if values are not similar or close enough will cause these issues like highlight clipping, poor detail in dark etc in main view. That issue in second picture is cause the buffer in rest is to dark and the tonemap is not bright enough try to reduce the black values(lower is brighter with this) in the rest_tonemap_config but also remeber the day might be affected differently. No over 2.43 causes other issues you can increase exposure(higher is darker) a bit if clipping is still a issue
A step-by-step would be appreciated, as I just can't get it to work.
The ambient occlusion flickers during misty and hazy days when viewed from certain angles, and when I found the proper vertex/pixel shader to hide that using REST, it then started to flicker in other places, and when I fixed those, it started to show through the water, and when I finally got that fixed, the game started to crash, as reshade was constantly trying to rebuild shaders. It's always something, and I just can't get it to work properly.
Would be great if it was possible, though. Some more help is required.
This looks very promising, great job so far. I'm not sure I understood what you were saying in the description about the normals, maybe in the future you could reword that a bit and clarify things. Cheers :)
