About this mod

Adds the large variety of Nuka Cola and Vim variants to the Quick Aid. Also makes a wider variety of sodas available in the Commonwealth.

I really like Quick Aid but it only covers base game objects. In particular, I'm using DLC Leveled List Integration and Rebalance and was finding a ton of Nuka Cola variants that Quick Aid wasn't using. Which was a shame because I wanted to play as a cola addict and make them a primary source of healing and AP buffs.

So this is a simple xEdit patch to not only make Quick Aid use more sodas for more things, but also tweaks the leveled lists for Soda distribution within the Commonwealth in a lore friendly way.

Quick Aid Changes

This mod overwrites the Quick Aid QuickAidMagicEffect with a version with expanded arrays where sodas have been added. Sodas are generally added to the top to be used before other foods but the original food lists are intact.

Most, but not all, the sodas (and their Ice Cold variants) have been added in various location of the mod. Because the various sodas don't all mimic the effects of the standard Nuka Cola, they have been spread out where appropriate. Nuka Grape, for example, reduced rads and so has been added to the Radx Food array ahead of Mutant Chops. The higher end sodas mixes that provide a lot of Healing and other effects have been added to the special food list. Nuka Cola flavors that provide no healing, rad reduction, or action points, are not included, although I did add Nuka Dark to the alcoholic beverage list.

Vim! Sodas are also included in the lists, and as they don't have rads, are included as basic food. Because it's possible to craft your own Vim (if you locate the recipe of course), I made them the first sodas used. Except for the fish flavored one as it's side effects are a bit weird for random combat use.

Baseline Nuka Cola Quantum has been removed from the arrays because it has a lot of crafting uses and I don't like them being used automatically. Variants of Quantum including Ice Cold and  mixes are still in the arrays.

Leveled List Changes

In order to ensure there are reasonable flavors to make use of without traveling to Nuka World for one of their widely available favors, I have also made changes to several leveled lists related to soda distribution: LL_Drink_Alcohol, LL_Drink_NukaCola_80, LL_Drink_NonAlcohol, LL_Vendor_Drink_NonAlcohol_Basic, and LL_Vendor_Drink_NonAlcohol_Rare.

The Nuka Cola is still the most likely soda flavor to show up, with Cherry being second. Other common flavors, like Orange, Grape, and Wild will sometimes show up, and rarely a Mixed variety or Quantum. Nuka Quartz and Nuka Victory are normally only available in Nuka World, as per the in game lore, although they do show up on Vendor lists as implied trade. Vim also sometimes shows up on Vendor lists. Nuka Dark is added to the alcohol lists.

These changes are intended to overwrite the changes in DLC Leveled List Integration and Rebalance to hopefully be more in line with lore.

Compatibility

Obviously Nuka World and Far Harbor are required. Only sodas were added. All other new foods from those DLCs are still not included. That's why I called this Soda Jerk instead of a DLC Patch.

No changes were made to the actual sodas themselves, so any mods you use that update their looks or effects should be compatible... although mods that alter effects may be weird as the array updates for Quick Aid were designed for the vanilla effects.

If you're using a mod that adds more soda types or mixes, those will not be used or distributed by this mod but shouldn't outright conflict, however if that mod also alters the Leveled List to distribute them, that probably will be a conflict.

If you are using a mod that alters Quick Aid, which as far as I know there aren't any right now, this will probably conflict.

As a Fallout 4 VR player, I made this patch with VR in mind. It has appropriate FormID numbers, etc. It doesn't require VR, but it's also not ESL tagged.

DLC Leveled List Integration and Rebalance is not required for the mod, but it is intentionally setup to overwrite it's soda distributions. Make sure Soda Jerk is loaded lower than Integration in your load order.
